Ms. Blanche was the perfect hostess. Her "breakfeast" was bountiful and delicious that included many fresh fruits, fresh baked goods and a Pumpkin Roll that was fantastic. We enjoyed her joining us at breakfast and her suggestions of places to see in the area. Her home is beautiful. We teased her that she should call it a Breakfast and Bed!

Terrific out of the way find! Blanche Tillinghast is a great hostess....rooms are large & comfortable....excellent cleanliness....excellent breakfasts with plenty of home baked goods. Surrounding NY State wineries & Watkins Glen attractions provide plenty to do. We'll be returning in Sep 08!

You don't expect the Four Seasons in a small rural town in upstate New York, but you do expect something typical of the region. For three experienced travelers this was a perfect experience. Comfortable bed, clean and neat rooms, warm and considerate staff. and a delicious breakfast: home made jam and coffee cake. Excellent coffee. Five stars!

The Inn had a comfortable and engaging Victorian atmosphere. The room was spacious, had good storage, lighting and ventilation and I enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast was abundant and delightful. I especially liked the fresh fruits and homemade jam and coffee cake. Yum! Blanche and her staff (mostly relatives) made me feel very welcome.
