I grew up in Buffalo, and I love Niagara Falls... love. As a child, when my aunts who adored me took me to the Red Coach Inn, it was an extra-special treat. I moved away in 1970 to marry a Frenchman, and promised to bring him to the Falls in the winter, the best, the loveliest season of all. But jobs, school, etc - we didn't get back in winter until 2008. I decided to book at the Red Coach Inn. We had a suite with a fireplace - one click and instant fire, the rooms were gorgeous, the view was as I remembered it, the dinner in the beautiful dining room was excellent (and my husband's French), the staff so friendly - I don't have enough superlatives! It was almost - but not quite - enough to make me stay inside. But then, we really had come to see the Falls!
