Absolutely amazing b&b. My wife and I decided to stay in a b&b for the last night of our first ever kid-free vacation. This was our first b&b experience. It was breathtaking. My wife and I absolutely were awed by the charm of the Inn and the hospitality of the Inn keeper. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable. We spent all evening there rather than touring around Hershey. It was that nice. We enjoyed the evening sipping tea, eating the baked goodies, and sitting on the candle-lit porch. Breakfast was amazing. A perfectly cooked quiche with a delectable chocolate chip scone (it is Hershey after all) and fresh fruit. The coffee was terrific as well. Will, the Inn keeper, was hospitable, friendly and gave us great advice on where to go and what to see. We followed his advice and had a wonderful day. We will be recommending this Inn to everyone and hoping to stay again.

The 1825 Inn is a wonderful place. As first timers at a bed and breakfast, we were not sure what to expect. From the moment we rang the bell, we felt comfortable. Will, the Innkeeper, greeted us warmly, checked us in, and gave us a key to both the front door and our room. He asked us if we needed anything we we asked for recommendations on a local restaurant. He produced a wide variety of menus and gave us his thoughts. Once we settled on a place, we took a quick tour, and then he left us to ourselves to get our luggage and get settled. There was a buffet with homemade cookies, granola bars, teas, and coffee set up. The cookies were great!

After eating out, we were able to come back and use our key to get in the front door. There were movies and games available for us to borrow. We had an "en suite" bathroom, electric fireplace, and small tv in our room. We stayed in the "Amish" room which had a memory foam matress on the bed. It was fabulous. Breakfast the first morning was blueberry french toast with sausage and fruit and the second morning was a sausage and stuffing quiche with fruit and lemon cake. Both were amazing and were hand served by Will on his beautiful china.

The location just outside of Hershey was perfect. You are not in the middle of everything, but you are extremely close to it all. We found the place easily and were able to navigate ourselves around to the various Hershey attractions, as well as a winery, and some antiquing. It was a great location!

Overall, we were extremely pleased and pleasantly surpirsed at the comfort of our first stay at a bed and breakfast. Thanks for your hospitality Will! We highly recommend the 1825 Inn to anyone traveling to the Hershey area!

1825 Inn provide excellent accommodations, outstanding food and a host in Will with concierge level local knowledge - best eats, great shopping and must visit sites not in the AMA guide. Both nights the local resturants were great food values.
As we were leaving for NYC, Will suggested we stop on the way at Cabela's outfitters in Hamburg. WOW.

Great service Will

Good luck with your vehicle purchase !

Great place for a cozy weekend getaway. Hershey Park is so close, you just have to go! My Husband and I stayed in the "Hearts & Flowers Room", it was cute and very cozy. Our Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Will, the Inn Keeper made us feel welcomed and right at home. We will surely be back to try the "Amish Room" for the Temperpedic Bed!

This was our 2nd visit to the 1825 Inn and we will be back! Will is a great host and make a wonderfull gourmet breakfast every morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Amish room and the temperpedic mattress was so comfortable.
Lots of nice extras here you dont always get at a B&B: Sweet treats ,afternoon cookies , stocked fridge with coke and water at no extra $$. Use of the gardens, computer , DVD movies and more. All in all highly recommended. We already booked a return for 2009! Thanks Will.

The rooms at the 1825 Inn give the feeling of a charmingly cozy, little country home, while providing more than enough space (and peace and quiet) for all the guests. The rooms are beautiful, immaculately clean, and perfectly comfortable. The swings and benches in the gardens surrounding the inn provide for outdoor solitude and comfort as well.

Service at the 1825 Inn is far better than what we’ve ever experienced in any hotel. From the DELICIOUS breakfasts served by the innkeeper, Will (blueberry waffles one day, and quiche and scones the next, with fresh fruit every day), to the sweets left out nightly, along with coffee, tea, and assorted beverages available daily, the food service is top notch! As for the innkeeper’s people skills, you could not ask for a kinder, more considerate “friend” to visit, and that’s how Will makes you feel, as though you’ve been friends forever and you’ve come to stay at his home for a while (as we had, although we didn’t know we’d make a new friend on our trip). Beyond that, he is always ready to give directions to any of the many attractions that are within easy reach of the inn.

I can’t imagine getting more for your money anywhere, with the quality and service provided at the 1825 Inn, while at very reasonable prices too. We will definitely be back for another visit with Will, and will recommend the 1825 Inn to everyone we know whose traveling to the Hershey / Lancaster area.

This Inn is so charming, CLEAN, warm and inviting. Will is a wonderful host. This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience, so we weren't sure what to expect; Will made us feel so at ease and at home. He has hot cocoa and freshbacked cookies to grab whenever you need one, his breakfast is to die for, his special touches like a hershey bar on our bed, turndown service without asking, looking up wineries for us...I could go on forever. This was an awesome experience and we can't wait to go back.

I stayed two nights at the 1825 House Bed and Breakfast at 409 South Lingle Avenue, Palmyra, Pa., 17078,and found the time there just about perfect. The interior was spic and span, the rooms charming and the decor homey and very appropriate for the architecture of the home. The breakfasts were wonderful, and had fruits, proteins and delicious carbs. The amenities included use of a refrigerator for guests, with sodas and waters for the guest to help themselves; books to read, and,oh my, chocolate goodies available in the parlor and dining room; and snacks for afternoon teas or evening munchies. There was a choice of six rooms in the inn, and two suites
in a building steps away from the main house. The inn is close to all activities in the Hershey area. I will return to this inn with anticipation of another lovely visit.I am a bed and breakfast fan, and The 1825 House will stay in my file of places in which to return. Thanks, Will McQueen, for your constant efforts to make your guests feel at home.

The 1825 INN is one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed at. The rooms were not only beautiful but immaculate as well. There was not one speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The breakfast was delicious and the presentation of the food was wonderful. The company at the breakfast table completed a great stay. Will is very dedicated to the comfort of his guests and treats you as if you were his family. We will definitely go back again. If you are ever in the Hershey/Palmyra area, the 1825 Inn B&B is The place to stay! Why stay in a hotel when you can stay at the Inn and be pampered! Thank you for a wonderful time Will!
