I am searching for someone who wants to run and operate their own bed and breakfast/guesthouse.
I purchased a 100 year old Queen Anne Victorian bed and breakfast in the Finger Lakes region of New York last year and have been renovating it ever since. The property has 6 bedrooms and 7 baths. There are (2) 2-room suites. Each bedroom has it's private bath. In addition, 5 bedrooms have whirlpool spas. There are 5 gas fireplaces, with 2 of the fireplaces located in the 2-room suites.
There are 4 communal rooms, consisting of an entry/parlor room, a formal dining room with alcove, a reading/library room facing the garden, and another room which could be used as an entertainment room. All rooms are large.
A wrap-around porch greets guests. There are 2 decks facing the garden and pond to the rear of the house.
The home has wonderful wood details, a full basement, and a 3-car garage with an upstairs that could eventually become another living space. The home sits on .75 acres, with manicured gardens. The interior paint is being done in faux finish. Footage of the home is approximately 4300 square feet.
There are 50+ wineries within an hours' drive of the home. The property is located within 10 minutes of 2 Finger Lakes, and the newly opened New York Wine and Culinary Center in Canadaigua is 15 minutes. Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, which has the highest skiing vertical between Vermont and the Rockies is just over a half-hours' drive.
The home is 85% renovated, and the ideal individual(s) will be the sort of person that is willing to make a long-term commitment to have their own business. You will be leasing the home.
