Ability to problem solve, multi task, create reports and manage 5-8 other employees is required. Must be willing to clean rooms if necessary or assist in daily maintenance as well if and when needed.

We would consider any of several options: (1) a Live-in Housekeeper/ Assistant Innkeeper, or (2) a full-time Innkeeper (to take over part or all of the business), or (3) an Innkeeper to purchase the bed and breakfast. We can also train, as part of the agreements of sale, a new Innkeeper who wishes to purchase the B&B. This is a really good opportunity for someone to purchase a very successful B&B and get free training from us, the current owners/Innkeepers (since we will still live in the same town). (Due to health problems, we need to make some changes and are very adaptable, depending upon the Innkeeper or potential Innkeeper we find and his or her needs.)

OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN INNKEEPING -- OR -- EXPERIENCED INNKEEPER WANTED. Our business has grown and we are in need of a dependable individual or couple. Our location, in the very center of the Shenandoah Valley, and with the world's only historically-correct re-creation of Shakespeare's indoor theater is making this little City of Staunton, VA a destination location!! Also, the downtown area is very unique and offers our guests an exceptional experience. If you are an experienced Innkeeper, you can run the business yourself; if you want to learn innkeeping, we will train you and you will work with us; if you want to purchase the Inn, there is that possibility also. Since we live at another location, the Innkeepers' Quarters, which are quite spacious and attractive, will be available for you. Please e-mail or telephone. We are looking for someone to take over the running of the B&B. Either an aspiring Innkeeper (we will train) OR a seasoned professional will be considered. Staunton, VA is located in the very center of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and the Shakespeare Theater (the world's only historically-correct re-creation of the Blackfriars' Theater where Shakespeare's plays were performed indoors) is a "gold mine" for Innkeepers, drawing guests from all over the world.
