The Property: This 2-Bedroom 2 Bathroom condo is ideal for families or small groups of mature, discerning adults.  Having never been rented before the 23-24 ski season, this well maintained condo has little wear and tear but lots of style and comfort.  Beautiful floors extend throughout this single level condo, which has an open concept layout and contemporary decor.  This is a cozy, warm, welcoming and relaxing place to call home during your time here in Steamboat Springs.  The first bedroom features a Queen sized bed, a ceiling fan, closet, and its own private bathroom.  The ensuite bathroom has been nicely updated and includes updated countertops, tile, new lighting and fixtures.  The second bedroom has a Twin over Queen bunk bed, making it suitable for a couple, two singles, or perhaps 3 kids.  This bedroom also has a ceiling fan and a dresser for clothing storage.  The Living Room includes a nice sofa and new armchair that allows you to relax comfortably next to the ambiance of the warm gas fireplace.  There’s also a big Smart HDTV and a Sonos soundbar.  Stream your preferred content through the TV or connect your devices via bluetooth, and enjoy theater quality sound.  The smart TV is wall mounted so the TV stand below is free for your items.  Look inside and you’ll find an assortment of cards, games, and books for your enjoyment.  The kitchen features beautiful wood counters, stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped for your chef.  Extras such as the electric tea kettle and the assortment of spices, oils, and condiments are available for your use.  Serve up meals, appetizers, or some Apres Ski refreshments on the bar or set up your laptop and give your chef some good company. Location: The Terraces at Eagle Ridge has a really convenient location. It is only about two to three hundred meters from the heart of our base area - Steamboat Square.  This includes both Gondolas, the Christie Express Lift, the ticket office, ski school,and so much more.  Within about 100 meters of The Terraces, you’ll find restaurants, groceries, ski rentals, and Storm Peak Brewing’s “Bus Stop” beer hall.  Walking to all of this or anywhere in the base area is easy.  Burgess Creek flows down the ski mountain, through the base area, and right past this building.  The Burgess Creek trail, which is right outside, leads directly to the slopes.  Head the other direction, and the trail connects you to the Yampa River, the Yampa River Core Trail, and beyond.  From here you can walk, run, stroll or bike onto national forest trails, to the botanic park, to downtown Steamboat, to parks and playgrounds, take your pick.  Activities and dining options abound throughout the ski area base.  There are often special events and free concerts in Steamboat Square.  You’re close to all of this, but not too close.  Make the short walk home to your relaxing retreat and enjoy the amenities.  Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking: Once you book, we're here to support you.  We will provide you with arrival instructions, and answer any specific questions you might have.  Thanks to the elevator, accessing this property does not require stairs, but if that elevator was ever out of service, you’d only need to go up one level to reach the condo.  Once inside, the condo is all one level.  Free parking is provided onsite.   That said, if you’re coming in ski season, consider that you really don’t need a car at all.    Arrival, Access, Transportation, Shuttles and Parking: – Accessing the property: Contactless Self Check In. When you arrive you’ll stop at the building’s entrance to pick up your key.  From the underground parking garage, go up the elevator or stairs, 2 levels, to enter the condo.  From the outdoor parking, you go down a few steps then up the elevator or stairs one level to enter the condo.  Once inside, the condo is a single level.   – Transportation & Shuttles:  In ski season, the HOA provides a private shuttle with service to and from the Gondola Transit Center.  The city has lots of free buses running around town as well, with multiple stops within about 150 meters of the building.  The ski area base and mountain village area is walkable from your door.  There are also companies with shuttles for “out of town” activities such as snowmobiling, sleigh ride dinners or the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.  So in ski season, you really don’t need a car, and if you bring one, it might just sit in the garage.  Guests visiting in spring, summer, or fall may also find a car unnecessary unless you’re headed out of town to a remote trailhead or state park. – Parking: If you do bring a car, you’ll have 1 reserved, assigned space in the underground garage.  Additional parking is available outside, and is available on a first come, first served basis.  So, the parking situation is good.  That said, please limit your group to 1 vehicle, if possible, and remember, when you stay here in ski season, you really don’t need a car at all.  Finally, please note, trailers are not allowed and oversized or wide vehicles may not fit.   – 4WD vehicle information: The roads in Steamboat Springs which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained.  However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass.  When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended. There may be other requirements.  For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents.  Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law.  Guests may be required to provide a credit card and or a refundable security/damage deposit.  We will be in touch after you book to gather additional information and to email you the rental agreement, which you can sign electronically - no printer required.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before booking. ** Amenities - Some private or shared amenities may not be available for guest use during certain periods.  Some amenities, when part of a property, may close daily, seasonally, or for maintenance.  As such, all amenities can not be guaranteed to be available at all times.  Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning.  During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed.  Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties.   Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos. ** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups.  Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size.  Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking.  The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required. ** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home.  Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property.  If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property.  For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary.  Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.
