Open House - Get inn the holiday spirit and step inside some of the most dazzling B&Bs with the 25th Annual Christmas at the Inns Tour. The tour runs from December 1-2 from 6 to 9 pm. Visitors and guests will be able to tour 10 different inns in the Pacific Grove area and admire beautifully decorated inns decked out in holiday lighting and ornate Christmas trees. Returning guests who stay at Jabberwock Bed and Breakfast in Monterey, California will be treated to complimentary tickets to the tour. The inn will also serve individual snack bags for visitors and guests, as well as provide live holiday harp music. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce as well as the Heritage Society of Pacific Grove.
Looking for a holiday experience that’s the best of both worlds? Mix a bit of beach and ice and check into Cardiff-by-the-Sea Lodge in Cardiff by the Sea, California. The inn is located 25 minutes away from the Hotel del Coronado, which offers an outdoor skating by the sea. Visitors can step off on the sand for a little beach action or get in the holiday fun and ice skate along to holiday music. The rink will be available for use until January 3, 2010. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego. Return to the inn and watch the sunset around an open pit fire on the rooftop and wake up to breakfast on an ocean-view terrace.
