I was able to coordinate all of the food for the party over the phone with Lori. This made it so easy for me, since I live 90 miles away in Detroit. I was most impressed with the quality of the food, and all of the small details that made the house like entertaining in our own home, but without all the worry! The china and linens, even candle arrangements were all included. We simply could come in and enjoy the party. I certainly will recommend the Munro House for future parties, or as a bed and breakfast for people interested in staying in a lovely historical home with warm, entertaining innkeepers.”

Bed & Breakfasts across the US are completing renovations and upgrading amenities. At BnBFinder.com we’re seeing an increase in the number of inns adding amenities such as in room hot tubs and wireless Internet. For example, La Belle Epoque, the historic bed and breakfast in Napa recently finished a two-year upgrade of its nine bedrooms, which now have 600 to 900 thread count sheets, new wallpaper and reupholstered furniture; some of the rooms also now have Jacuzzis. Quietly these renovations are completed, one room at a time, so like La Belle Epoque the inn remains open and upgrades performed unbeknownst to guests - the end result ensures guests continue to wake up someplace special.
