Tanglewood Hall is a casually elegant 1880's grand seacoast cottage of yesteryear, set amidst lush woodlands, colorful gardens, and whimsical fountains offering a quiet oasis in the heart of quaint York Harbor. Once a York Historical Society Decorator Show House, the inn features rooms that have been custom decorated, individually designed, and furnished with luxurious linens with your ultimate comfort in mind.
A bountiful breakfast can be enjoyed on our large wrap-around verandah facing gardens and natural woods, surrounded by birds chirping and occasional ocean breezes. Inside an airy sky blue parlor is joined to the cheerful morning room and sun-filled dining room, all with fireplaces and antiquities.
The ocean is just a short walk away. Beaches, fishing villages and rocky coastlines begin here and extend northward. A cliff path is just around the corner offering open ocean views along Maine's rugged coastline. Watch lobster boats and sloops sail in and out of the harbor.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations: Notice given 14 days (or more) prior to the reservation will receive a full refund less a $25.00 service fee. For cancellations within the 14-day period, we will make every attempt to resell the room, but if unable to do so, the deposit will not be refunded. Last minute cancellations (within 3 days of the reservation) will incur charges for the entire reserved stay. A gift certificate for a future stay may be issued at the innkeeper's discretion if circumstances for a cancellation are warranted.

We offer a quiet peaceful retreat for all of our guests. There are many fragile collections and antiques throughout the inn and we have been honored to host many wonderful kids here. However, we ask all parents to thoughtfully evaluate their children's personal supervisionary needs before considering this inn.

We require a one night's stay or 50% deposit (whichever is larger) to be processed at the time of your reservation. This deposit shall apply to your last night(s) stay. The balance is due upon arrival at check-in.
