Located in the oldest village in the White Mountains, our historic home was once the residence of arctic explorer Admiral Robert E. Peary. Although close to the bustle of North Conway, we sit tucked away on a tranquil six and a half acres of lawns, woods and gardens. Our 7 quiet and lovely guest rooms feature king or queen beds and private baths, with gas fireplaces and whirlpool tubs in some. Two rooms interconnect, providing excellent accommodation for families or two couples traveling together.

Breakfast is served in our large farm-house style kitchen and features innovative and traditional cuisine from around the world, beautifully prepared and presented. The menu changes daily and includes such delights as Maine blueberry muffins, a Cajun scramble with fresh veggies or our delicious pineapple upside down bread pudding.

The living room combines warmth and comfort with its massive fireplace and pool table or choose our peaceful parlor or 3 season porch for a quiet read.

Check In Policy:
Check-in time is between 4pm and 9pm. Please let us know if your plans have you arriving later into the evening. We regret that we cannot accommodate early check-ins.
Check Out Policy:
Check out time is 11am.
Cancellation Policy:
Should you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded less a $25 processing fee for cancellations up to 14 days prior to the arrival date (30 days during foliage season and the Fryeburg Fair). Refunds less the processing fee will be made for cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival only if the room can be rebooked. Please note that we are unable to make refunds under any circumstances for late arrivals or early departures. All packages are non-refundable unless we are able to re-sell your reservation in its entirety.

We welcome older children with mindful and considerate parents. Our house is not toddler-proof, nor do we have any facilities for babies and small children under the age of 5. When considering whether to bring your family here, please bear in mind that many guests visit us because of our quiet ambience and to get away from disturbances. In consideration for them, your child(ren) should be supervised at all times.

Deposit Policy:
A deposit is required to confirm your reservation equivalent to one nights stay plus tax for each room booked or the entire package price, whichever is applicable. This will be charged to your card at the time you make your reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash and travelers cheques.

Our home is a smoke-free environment for the safety and comfort of all and in accordance with state law. Guests who wish to smoke may do so only in designated outside areas where ashtrays are provided on request. Guests who disregard our smoking policy can expect to be charged a cleaning fee of a minimum of two nights rental, plus actual charges incurred to return the room to its prior smoke-free condition.
