A musst go! Mike and Marie are the kindest hosts who make you their family. Their large victorian B&B has lovely and very comfortable rooms. You are encouraged to make yourself at home and they provide amenities to help you do just that! Breakfast is served in their charming dining room, and it is prepared by Marie. If you are fortunate enough to have Mike home to serve you, you are in for a treat, particularly if you love the Chicago Bears! |

Upon arrival, the beauty of the inn will delight you! Twinkling lights warmly welcome you. Mike and Marie will help you feel at right at home, from your beautifully decorated room, to their delicious homemade breakfast. They visit with each guest and we feel we now are "part of their family". We have stayed at their inn on three different occassions. I even took my 86 year old mother up for a mom-daughter get away! Marie treated my mom royally! The Westby House is a must go! |

When I layed in the bed, it was so comfortable that I took an hour nap. That is why we loved the Inn and this locatiion. The town was quaint and quiet with a great restaurant and close to biking and hiking trails. We enjoyed walking in the reidential area and met local people who stopped to talk. Which we really enjoyed. |

We had a lovely stay...the accommodations and hospitality were exceptional. There were just a couple of things that could have been improved upon...hot water and pressure in the bathroom. |

The Westby House Pinewood Room was a very nice room that was in a separate building from the main Westby House. There was plenty of space to stretch out with beautiful loft area containing a queen-size bed. The room comes with a separate continental breakfast. There's coffee maker and microwave. If you want privacy, it's the room for you. |

our stays at B & B's. The home was
beautiful, food out of this world, and
accomodations perfect in every way. |

Being the 1st time staying at a B&B, I can't compare to others. The place was fabulous. Restoration, furnishings, location, and food were the best ever. We had everything we needed. The walk in shower was great as I have difficulty managing stepping in and out of a tub. The food was outstanding especially the scones and stuffed Frech toast. The beautiful china and service wer fantastic. I would be tempted to stay again if in the area. Mike and Marie do a superb job as caretakers of this old victorian house. |

We stayed in the Pine Room which is a duplex suite with a kitchen and a lofted bed area.. The room is very pleasant but if you not spry or have a young child there is a very small spiral staircase that may be difficult to get up and down.
You don't get a traditional B&B Breakfast included in the price. There is a continental breakfast in the refrigerator and you can go to the dinning room for an extra charge. This could be a little disappointing to those that expect the traditional B&B service but then the price of the room is very reasonable. I have stayed at the Westby House before. I come to Westby for the trout fishing. I would highly recommend this B&B. The Owners are friendly and accommodating and they run a very lovely facility. |

It was a very nice B and B. The woman who owns the business was most cordial and friendly. I especially liked the location, for it was very near three trout streams that I fished. The luncheon food was excellent as well. So, overall, it was certainly an above average B and B. |

The Westby house was a wonderful experience. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before and really enjoyed ourselves. Mike and Marie were above our expectations and had a great recommendation for dinner. If you do decide to stay at The Westby House and up for a wonderful dinner we recommend the Firehouse. Breakfast was great and the place was so well kept! Thanks again! |

Mike and Marie were wonderful hosts and everything from the food to the accomodations were exceptionally top-notch. They took time to acquaint us with our room, its amenities and the surroundings to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Every last detail was thought of and looked after. This type of service and hospitality is very rare indeed. Mike and Marie personify the intriguing qualities of the Westby House and all it has to offer. You may look but you will not find a nicer stay or nicer hosts....anywhere! We know, we have looked. |

The host and hostess were incredible. Friendly down to earth folks. The Westby House was above and beyond our expectations. The website gives a very thorough and accurate description. The room was a little smaller than I expected, but the whirpool and bedding were a welcome comfort to a woman who is 8 months pregnant. Truly rejuvenating. The heat was a little hard to control and it would have been nice to control the fireplace separately from the thermostat. |
