We have come to LOVE Canyon Inn!! We have stayed here quite a few times and we always come back as it is our favorite spot. Because it is in a forested area, it is very peaceful and quiet. No traffic from the local neighborhood. A small lake with waterfowl, eagles and turtles and such make it so calming. We love walking the trails and took some great pictures of wild mushrooms and wildlife. A trip in the canoe on the lake was so nice and refreshing. The best part are the breakfasts that Patti and Turner set out each morning. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! They are such a lovely couple and are easy to talk to. We will be back soon.

My husband & I needed a relaxing retreat away from the hectic pace of life and found this hidden treasure. Our stay was just that if not more...peaceful, comfortable and romantic. The Inn had clean spacious rooms, gathering areas, and amnities galore to make our stay a wonderful one. Not to mention the beautiful nature views and activities provided outdoors. Of course, the breakfasts were delicous with quite a variety of choices. The extra special treatment from our friendly hosts made our stay one that warrants a return in the future. Truly a treasure you don't want to miss!

It was our 2nd time at the Canyon Road Inn, we just love it. The property is set on a beautiful landscape of meadows and trees. Our room was beautiful and clean as always! The breakfast was divine! Judy and Ken are wonderful to visit with. It certainly will not be our last time there!

Canyon Road Inn is located in an absolutely beautiful setting situated on a small lake, surrounded by woods and edged with lilypads. The grounds are wooded and landscaped with gardens and pathways. There is a canoe, and a peddle boat to enjoy on the lake. Wildlife wanders across the property. We always choose a room that faces the lake. Each room is beautfully appointed, and comfortable. The company and fellowship has always been delightful with both the owners,Judy and Jim, whom we especially enjoy, and the guests. The breakfast/brunch served is outstanding-delicious, beautfully presented, healthy, homecooked, hearty with a great variety of choices. Breakfast company in the dining room is always cheerful and friendly. We just love to go to Canyon Road Inn to celebrate our anniversary. Even on rainy weekends we have enjoyed the setting, but when the day is dry a paddle around the lake, a hike in the woods, or relaxing on the deck or patio of our room makes it perfect. There is also a fire ring for evening gatherings. I would recommend Canyon Road Inn to everyone.

When we turn down the lane into the Canyon Road Inn, we transition from everyday busy life to the serenity of the north woods. There is always a warm welcome and we are greeted as friends not just guests. The grounds are well kept and everything is so clean. The Ahlbergs truly care about their guests and go out of their way to make them feel at home. The atmosphere, hospitality and food can not be beat. Although not the traditional victorian B and B, this remains one of our absolute favorites and we try to visit at least twice each year.

My husband & I went to the Canyon Road Inn to celebrate our anniversary. Neither of us has ever been to a B&B before this. I had surprised him with the weekend & it was an excellent experience. Judy & Ken were awesome hosts! They made us feel at home even before we exited our car! Judy was outside tending to flowers & immediately stopped to welcome us. The accomodations were clean & very homey & welcoming! The day we left I asked my husband if he would have agreed to come had I told him what we wer doing & he stated that he would not have wanted to do this, but after the experience he was already talking about our next stay! I would recommend this B&B for anyone looking for an amazingly relaxing weekend! And it should be noted that the breakfasts were absolutly devine!!!
