We had a great time staying at the Scofield House. Dan and Vicki were fantastic hosts and the FULL breakfasts they served were outstanding. We didn't need a noon lunch as were roamed about Door County after eating their breakfast. The House is wonderfully appointed with turn-of-the-century decor. The late night snacks and the chocolate treats left in the rooms were a nice added touch as we returned each evening from our "treks" of the day. Door County did not disappoint and we will surely return again some day. And when we do, we will definitely stay at the Scofield House again.

We highly recommend this B&B for your stay in Door County. We stayed at the "room at the top" for three nights. The hospitality was excellent and the breakfasts were delicious (especially the homemade scones).

My wife and I only had a couple of days that we could get away, so we decided to head up to Door County. During peak season, Dan and Vicki, the innkeepers, were able to work with us to get a room with only a week's notice, and we could not have been happier. We stayed in the Rose Room, which was absolutely amazing. Our private whirlpool and fireplace were simply added bonuses to the elegance and romance of the room and the rest of the inn. Dan and Vicki were wonderfully kind, making delicious breakfasts and cookies for afternoon snacks, and were very willing to accommodate our dietary restrictions. If we go to Door County again, we WILL stay at Scofield House.

OVerall - a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this inn to anyone. The bathrooms are REALLY cool - especially in the water lilly room. The room at the top? Oh ya - it would be outstanding. A very good value overall. Close to downtown Sturgeon Bay - walking distance. The innkeepers are super - very nice. A great place to stay.

The Scofield House was an excellent B&B! Everything was wonderful...Dan and Vicki are great hosts! The location is perfect, very quiet and close enough for day trips to any/all of the smaller towns up the penninsula. Dan serves up a wonderful breakfast! I would recommend this B&B to everyone and we will certainly stay there again!
