The Scofield House, located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin gateway to the Door County Peninsula, welcomes you to experience a traditional, authentic, bed & breakfast. Beveled crystal and stained glass windows, oak doors and window frames heavily ornamented with hand-carved bows, ribbons and swags, as well as gleaming hardwood floors with inlaid borders reflect true Victorian opulence. The six guestrooms have private baths. Each is uniquely decorated, inviting intimacy and romance. Oversize whirlpool tubs blend harmoniously with imported wall coverings, marble, and stained glass windows.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the Scofield House is within walking distance to many of Sturgeon Bay’s specialty shops, fine and casual dining, and museums. Numerous activities abound in Door County and the Scofield House is an ideal location from which to explore the "Door." Door County is home to many cultural events and attractions, restaurants, award-winning wineries, unique shops and galleries. There are 5 state parks, more than a dozen county parks and 11 golf courses. The Door offers trolley tours, sunset cruises, sailing tours, charter fishing, dairy farm tours, horseback riding and much, much more. And don't forget the lighthouses—Door County has a rich maritime history and boasts 10 lighthouses, several of which are accessible to the public.

Best bargain in all of door county. Amazing rooms, fantastic homemade cookies, wonderful deluxe chocolates in the room and what a unique wonderful surprise of all you want cold homemade root beer and orange soda pop, my favorite thing about my stay! Breakfast was homemade and filling. Made some relationships across the country to this day. Easy walk to the historic shopping/ restaurant districts. My balcony room was still under construction so the inn keepers gave me a free upgrade at no costs. Stayed in upper door county for several days but would definitely stay here again for a longer stay. Just wish this inn was closer to my home of Portland Oregon.

Very neat and clean with excellent food, especially the Door County cherry juice served with breakfast. Also, the complimentary beverages and treats were much appreciated.

Wonderful B&B - exceeded our expectations. Dan and Vicki Klien were very nice, breakfasts were very tasty, the attention to detail around the home was awesome. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent. The house and room had classy decor and felt like a true classic bed and breakfast. The service was great. We were treated like royalty. We had a lovely experience!

Inkeepers were cordial. We were greated with warmth, offered refreshments and given a tour of the facilities. Our room was lovely, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need - including chocolates! Breakfast was outstanding - scones were perfect. Value for accommodations - spot on We will stay again

The Scofield House is an exceptional B&B. The innkeepers, Dan and Vicki, offer gracious, friendly hospitality to their guests. It's in a great location, close enough to downtown Sturgeon Bay to walk to local shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this inn to friends and family.
