Beveled crystal and stained glass windows, oak doors and window frames heavily ornamented with hand-carved bows, ribbons and swags, as well as gleaming hardwood floors with inlaid borders reflect true Victorian opulence. The six guestrooms have private baths. Each is uniquely decorated, inviting intimacy and romance. Oversize whirlpool tubs blend harmoniously with imported wall coverings, marble, and stained glass windows.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the Scofield House is within walking distance to many of Sturgeon Bay’s specialty shops, fine and casual dining, and museums. Numerous activities abound in Door County and the Scofield House is an ideal location from which to explore the "Door." The Door offers trolley tours, sunset cruises, sailing tours, charter fishing, dairy farm tours, horseback riding and much, much more. And don't forget the lighthouses—Door County has a rich maritime history and boasts 10 lighthouses, several of which are accessible to the public.
