The Inn at Lonesome Hollow is situated on 160 rural acres near Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin. Guests can enjoy 4 miles of private hiking trails, forest, wildlife, bird watching, many gardens, a large pond with gazebo, and complete relaxation.

The Inn is located in a completely private valley, surrounded on three sides by 300 foot hills, part of the Ocooch mountains of southwest Wisconsin. The Inn is about one hour south of La Crosse and two hours west of Madison. Prairie du Chien is only 40 minutes south from us. Nearby attractions include five state parks, great trout fishing, canoeing on three different rivers, antiquing, and Amish shopping.

Senior citizens, over age 65, receive a 10% discount.
Every fifth night is free for extended stay patrons
Children of any age are welcome in the Cedar Cabin if accompanied by an adult.

Our breakfasts always include juice, coffee or tea, fruit, bakery, and main entree (including meat). Vegetarian breakfast is always available as well.

Cancellation Policy:
No charge if cancellation is made one week or more ahead of reservation date. No charge if the room can be subsequently rented. A one night charge will be assessed otherwise.

Children of any age are welcome in the Cedar Cabin. Children over 6 years of age are welcome in the Homestead Suites.

Deposit Policy:
Reservations can be guaranteed by submitting a check for one night's stay or by providing a valid credit card number. No credit card charges are made until after your arrival.
Pets Welcome
Small dogs are allowed in the Cedar Cabin only. The dog must be kenneled when left alone.

A stray cat adopted us last fall. She is very friendly and we restrict her to our own private living quarters.
