Teri and Steve invite you to enjoy the beauty and charm of their 1910 American Foursquare home Sweet Autumn Inn Bed & Breakfast LLC, and Lake Mills, Wisconsin. A large veranda is filled with comfortable wicker chairs. A deck by the lily pond invites you to sit and relax or walk in the gardens. On cooler evenings gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows.
Inside you'll enjoy the large living room fireplace which is flanked by unusual leaded glass windows. In the dining room a massive built-in china closet is topped by clerestory windows. A large bay window is covered with Sweet Autumn clematis and morning glory making this room a lovely place to gather for breakfast. An open stairway with unique "slag" glass windows at the landing leads you to the guest rooms. Original oak & maple woodwork fills this lovely home with old world craftsmanship. |

What a pleasant B&B to call home for a night. Clean and well appointed rooms. From the evening wine to the marvelous breakfast this is a great inn for you to choose. Our host was friendly and so helpful. We'll be back. Thanks!!!!!!!!! Rob

We needed a quick getaway from the little ones, and Sweet Autumn Inn was perfect. The whole place is comfortable and attractive, and our room (Everson) was excellent - lovely real fireplace! Teri is a most gracious hostess, and the breakfasts were absolutely A+ - delicious and gourmet - we really appreciated the addition of vegetarian "sausage" patties!! We were also happily surprised at the quality of the local restaurants - lots to choose from and we loved Blue Moon and Carp's Landing. Thanks for a great getaway, Teri!

Teri was such a wonderful hostess. She had water and cookies waiting for us and access to coffee all day and night long. She even adjusted her normal breakfast schedule to make sure we could eat before our event. I do plan on staying there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

We stayed during a bike trip on the Glacial Drummin Trail. We loved that there was bike security. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Teri is very friendly and welcoming and the rooms contained everything we could want. The chocolate cookies were great and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were quiet. I never heard any of the other patrons. I'd highly recommend the inn.

We cannot say enough good things about Teri and the Sweet Autumn Inn. We were warmly greeted and welcomed. Teri visited with us at breakfast providing nice conversation and history of Lake Mills and the area around it.
We would highly recommend the Sweet Autumn Inn for a weekend getaway.

Teri is a wonderful, friendly person and runs a most excellent B&B in a beautiful area. Accommodations and food were EXCELLENT and we really enjoyed chatting with Teri about places to visit/see and other "just" conversations.

Hostess was very friendly without being over-barring. Breakfast was amazing!! There were no toiletries (except for bar soap) so we had to pick some up from the local grocery store. Evening wine was served- always a nice touch!
Response
Each guest room is provided with Fresh homemade cookies, a carafe of ice water, robes, slippers, hairdryer, shampoo, cotton balls, Q-tips, liquid handsoap as well as bar soap. I do encourage all guests to please let me know if there is anything else they need. I'm very sorry to hear these guests went shopping without letting me know their needs. Occasionally a guest will forget toothpaste/toothbrush, dental floss, etc. and I am glad to provide those upon request.

Sweet Autumn Inn is Sweet!! Teri is just wonderful - it was like being at my aunt's house. Just like visiting family only no stress or fights!!
The bed was so comfy I could have stayed in for an extra long time had I had the time and the meals were great. Loved it!

My wife and I needed a place to stop on the way to visiting reletives. We decided on the Sweet Autumn Inn. We were not dissapointed. It was just what we wanted, a relaxing evening and good breakfast. Teri was very hospitable. She made us feel at home with good conversation and a comfortable atmosphere. We hope to visit again soon.

Very relaxing. Teri is a great host. Every detail was carefully thought on in the decorating and room set up. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
