Thomas Shepherd Inn Weavie 5 05/25/2009 The B&B was wonderful. The innkeepers were very friendly and their breakfast was so tasty. The room we stayed in was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The B&B is very close to downtown, and it's within a short drive to historical locations, as well as outdoor fun (kayaking, fishing). Would highly recommend this B&B.

Thomas Shepherd Inn J 5 09/11/2006 The house was very well located on the main street in Shepherdstown,WV. Easy walk down the street to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean, cozy and big. There was a library with a refrigerater and a large porch on the second floor off the library. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very helpful, pleasant and accomodating. It is just about 10 miles to Harper's Ferry where you'll find history, shops and restaurants, kayaking, tubing, hiking paths in the mountains or along the river and civil war reenactments. Only a couple of miles from the house to Antetiem where there is another historical battlefield (3 hour driving tour. This was a great weekend getaway.
