Our European-style country house hotel is uniquely situated, cascading down a limestone ridge on fifteen levels. The inn features 2000 panes of glass which flood the beautiful interior with light. The inn is especially suitable for smaller, less traditional, wedding- ceremonies and celebrations of marriage, but can also accommodate larger numbers including banquet-style seating and dance bands under tents on our extensive grounds. Both the elegant, antique-filled Main House and the less formal Gatehouse may be booked for weddings and celebrations at our romantic bed and breakfast in Charles Town, WV.

My Wife and I went to the Hillbrook Inn for a getaway on our third anniversary. If I could give more than five stars I most certainly would !! Gretchen was the most attentive host one could ever imagine, and Christine, the chef, came out of the kitchen facility to meet us. THIS HAD TO BE THE MOST ROMANTIC OVERNIGHT GETAWAY EVER, AND WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY !! I look forwar to my next trip to the Hillbrook in the very near future. Kudos to all the staff, and in the words of Siskel & Eibert...TWO THUMBS UP !

At first glance, you think you have arrived at a French Norman inn. Charming place with comfortable
very attractive accommodations and very good food. As the former wife of a foreign service officer,
Gretchen and her inn are an eclectic mix of charm and sophistication.
