The Inn at Lucky Mud sits in the Willapa Hills of southwest Washington. The Willapa Hills lie between the Olympic Peninsula and the Oregon Coast Range. Our homestead rests on a south slope looking across a small forested valley. A half acre pond is centrally reposed, with many springs and a year round stream. Skamokawa, WA, is located on the shore of the Columbia River about 30 river miles from the Pacific Ocean. Nearby are two national wildlife refuges covering 40,000 acres, much of it islands. It's a kayaker's paradise.

Nestled in the green forests, our 40 acre homestead provides guests with spacious rooms and full country breakfasts. There are four guest rooms all with private baths, queen beds, interior and exterior secure entrances and closets are well stocked with games, a collection of tapes, fiction books and guidebook pamphlets for touring the region. So, relax by the pond, play disc golf, and explore 40 acres of ferny forests and rolling pastures. . . . Your dinner will be ready when you are.
