Red Caboose Getaway

Entrance to a unique Bed & Breakfast experience
Situated on a shy 3 acres on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state five completed private cabooses are a perfect getaway. Cabooses (Waycars, Crummies,Hacks) are long gone from the end of freight trains but have been lovingly restored at Red Caboose Getaway B&B and set in round house fashion each on their own track with a replica train station in front and our stainless steel private dining car, The Silver Eagle for our breakfast service.

Track # 2 - 5
Your own private railroad car! - A Caboose ! Outside a restored caboose but inside- Queen feather beds, fireplace, 2-person whirlpool tubs or soaking tubs,robes TV/VCR/DVD, in room coffee, mini fridge. Walk on the original oak floors and climb into the cupola to sit in the conductors chairs. We have just completed our newest addition, Track # 5, "The Lavender Limited" which is our most luxurious yet!

Our Private Silver Eagle Dining Car
Our restored stainless steel 1937 Zephyr private dining car were gourmet breakfasts are expertly prepared by Charlotte, my wife, and elegantly served by your uniformed silver haired waiter, (me!), Stationmaster Olaf.

Your own table set with fresh flowers elegantly served in our private dining car, The Silver Eagle. One of our guests after our gourmet breakfast said we should be called "A BREAKFAST & bed". Numerous times when Charlotte greets the guests after one of her fantastic breakfast she has recieved standing ovations!

Inside Dining Car
Our guests enjoy their own private table set with white linen, fine china, crystal glasses, and fresh flowers. Upon entering our elegant diner many of our guests run back to their cabooses for their cameras not only to photograph the interior but also each course as it is presented.

Track # 2 Our Luxury Orient Express
Snuggle in the Queen feather bed warmed by the glow of the gas fireplace after enjoying the 2-person whirlpool. Forty tons of solid steel surround you with no shared walls or floors-your own private sanctuary.
