Welcome to the Shafer Baillie Mansion Bed & Breakfast! Our Capitol Hill location is perfect for both business and vacation travelers. We are located just minutes from downtown Seattle, Volunteer Park, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and much, much more.

Check In Policy:

Check in is from 3:30-6:00pm or by appointment. The balance due for your stay will be charged at arrival time. If you pay the deposit by credit card we will charge the balance to the same card on the day you are due to arrive, unless you specifically inform us otherwise at the time of the reservation.

Check Out Policy:
|
|
Check out time is 11:00am. We can store your bags for afternoon departures.
|

Cancellation Policy:
|
|
Because we do not overbook as hotels do, and last-minute changes are costly for us, we require at least seven days’ notice in the event of a cancellation to refund your deposit (less a $25 service charge). Shortening of a stay with less than seven days’ notice will incur a one-night charge. The full charge for the reservation will be incurred for no-shows or for early departure after the stay has been charged on the arrival date. Reservations for two or more rooms require 30 days' notice of cancellation in order to refund deposit (less $25 service charge).

In consideration of other guests we ask that young children be well-behaved and under direct parental supervision at all times, and that infants be sleeping (or at least quiet) through the night before being brought to stay at the Mansion.
