Relax on the Front Porch
My husband and I spent eight memorable days with BJ and Frank and HIGHLY recommend their bed and breakfast! Each morning my husband would bring his coffee out to the bluff and sit quietly amid the flowers and watch the sun come up over the Pacific. He was frequently rewarded with a glimpse of whales and otters fishing for their breakfast. We of course, didn't have to work for ours... we gathered daily at a beautiful table with sweeping views of the gardens and were treated to the most fabulous breakfasts! BJ took time to each morning to welcome everyone and offered advice on day trips and local attractions. As we drove into the driveway each evening tired, but happy, we were blessed with local deer grazing peacefully on the lawns. Seeing BJ's gorgeous Victorian waiting at the end of the drive was indeed a site for tired eyes. Frank worked quietly behind the scenes making sure everything was ready for the guests and BJ was always there with a smile to greet you when you returned home. Our room was "Victoria's Repose" a beautiful spacious room with a fabulous view! The bed was comfy (and beautiful!) and each night BJ made sure the room was clean, the ice bucket was full, and we had two homemade (yummy) cookies waiting for us. As I strolled the breathtaking gardens of an evening, I was reminded that indeed "one is nearer God's heart in a garden than anywhere else on earth." Our visit was truly a little piece of heaven for two tired adults who needed some recharging. DON'T MISS IT!! If you have a chance to go, even for a couple of days, do it! You won't regret it. And THANKS BJ & Frank! You two are the best! We look forward to the day we return to Port Angeles and BJ'S. It truly was a WONDERFUL visit!!

Waterview from your Room
Stroll through the gardens on your way to the benches that overlook the ocean. Relax and enjoy watching the bald eagles coming up on the draft or see whales passing by. Many guests just enjoy sipping wine as they relax on a romantic getaway.

Napoleon Bonaparte's Retreat
BJ's Garden Gate Bed and Breakfast between Sequim and Port Angeles, Washington. Napoleon Bonaparte would surely have desired this as his private retreat to capture Josephine’s heart. The large bedroom has a queen size antique French bed of exquisitely carved walnut with matching dresser topped with marble.
