This Island Paradise is full of magical experiences, and what better place to stay than at the Highland Inn bed & breakfast on the exclusive west side of San Juan Island. Think of this quiet, secluded inn as your retreat with every possible soothing comfort.
The Highland Inn is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking the Haro Strait where it joins the Strait of Juan De Fuca. San Juan Island is home to three resident pods of orca whales. From April through October the waters below our inn are their feeding and play grounds. They are easily seen and heard from our expansive decks. Bald eagles, owls and a myriad of other birds find nests along our coastline. Deer abound, Whale WatchPark and the Lime Kiln Lighthouse are just a mile up the coast with many hiking trails and picnic spots along the way.
