For years Melissa Mei has been the Innkeeper and proud owner of Camano Blossom B&B. This summer (2011)new changes have been added. She has taken on business partners Patrick and Candie Tafoya as Innkeepers/Managers of Camano Blossom.
Patrick and Candie have long searched for the right location to bring their culinary skills and love of entertaining from such locations as the Southwest (Arizona and New Mexico) and the Mediterranean, to merge with the Great Northwest. Indulge in stay in dinners that may include a variety of tastes. Learn to cook with the flavors of Melissa's private seasonings and with the flame of Patrick's chosen chilies.
So, come and meet us here to enjoy the culture of East meets West, resting in the legacy created by Melissa and now a tradition upheld by Candie and Patrick. Bask in the care and comfort only this B&B can provide.
Candie and Patrick have also opened up Camano Blossom B&B with Casa de Paz Retreat Center. A location on the property with additional options of long term stays and workshop, class, course or retreat opportunities. Call for details |

What a wonderful b & b experience! The warm hospitality and superb food were outstanding. Patrick and Candie were helpful and caring hosts. And the atmosphere of the inn itself was very inviting.

Simply the best B&B--no, the best of any kind of inn I've ever stayed in. We've been coming to the island for ten years to visit our goddaughter, and have been staying here for the last three. The inn is immaculate, the scenery incredible, and the hospitality without peer. It's perfect for weddings and other events. Melissa makes you feel like you're visiting a favorite aunt, and since she ran a gourmet Chinese restaurant, she cooks like an angel. Her new partners (Patrick and Candice) continue the tradition of fine dining and accomodations, and add a New Mexican/Southwestern fusion to the cuisine that manages to delight. They will tailor your menu for any particular dietary requirements, going the extra yard to make your experience memorable. Did I mention that most of the fruit, berries, and vegetables come from the garden, and I have never tasted such fresh food? We used to stay at another B&B on Camano Island that was highly rated by a national travel magazine, but I can simply say that if you go anywhere but the Camano Blossom, you're making a huge mistake and are missing out on a wonderful experience. In fact, we're already planning on returning next year. There are only three rooms, which is nice because you don't feel like one of a crowd, so do yourself a favor and book now to avoid missing out.

Camano Island was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Melissa's hospitaltiy was wonderful. The food was fantastic. I dreamed of having my wedding there and only could imagine how much more beautiful the property would be in the summer. The views from the rooms were spectacular overlooking the mountains. I can't wait to go back!

This is a beautiful B&B on several lush acres with gorgeous views. The house is imaculate. The feather beds more comfortable than at any hotel. Our hostess was friendly and cheerful from the moment we stepped out of our car. She is an amazing chef. Each breakfast was delicious and different from the day before. Her gourmet Chinese dinner was the best we've ever had.
