The Williamsburg Sampler Bed and Breakfast Inn is the finest 18th Century plantation style colonial, in the City of Williamsburg's Architectural Corridor Protection District. Although the inn was built in the year of the bicentennial, it captures the early American spirit of historic Colonial Williamsburg and will immediately gain your love with its warm atmosphere, tasteful decor, and fine carpentry. This home, furnished and decorated with Colonial charm, where a collection of antiques, pewter, and samplers can be found throughout, awaits you.
Funny, Entertaining, Enjoyable...For Innkeepers and Guests of B&Bs... Tales from the Bed & Breakfast Roundtable. The Innkeeper draws not only from his own experiences but also from stories of other innkeepers across the US. The stories are tasteful, well-edited and sensibly organized in the 75-page volume. Well-written and easy to read, this spiral-bound treasure will keep you chortling for days. To order, send a check for $11.95, plus $1.25 shipping (no credit cards) to Williamsburg Sampler B&B TALES, 922 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185. |

The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas with dozens of German nutcrackers, antique sleighs and dolls, garland and pictures! Ike was a wonderful host and a great cook, with lots of stories to tell - he was also a great listener and was genuinely interested in his guests. He offered many suggestions about things to do and see in the area, and his home was full of additional opportunities including a gym, billiards, library and just for relaxing. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and furnished with wonderful antiques and the stay was very restful and we departed with remorse, promising to return. We highly recommend Ike and the Sampler.

Your trip to Williamsburg is not complete without a stay at a King's suite in this B&B. The inn keeper, Ike, makes the perfect breakfast fit for a king. You will awake to a unique and mouth watering scent each morning. Make acquaintances around the breakfast table served with period ware. Walking distance to Historic Willaimsburg; a slow walk is about 20 min. The inn keeper is well versed on all attractions. This inn is filled with historic antiques and curios including an original pump organ, canon, and a grammaphone. The King suits have a romantic balcony for star gazing and/or night time wine sipping. Quaint and quiet historic atmosphere; food market about 1.5 miles away; use your TomTom. Do yourself a favour and stay for a while; you need at least three days to feel the character of this house. My wife and I love this house! There is one warning, once you stay at the Williamsburg Sampler B&B, you will forever see all other hotel rooms as "blah". Prepare to be spoiled.
