Our 1850’s farmhouse known as the Gay Street Inn Bed & Breakfast in a quiet corner of the historic village of Washington, Virginia, will welcome you to a relaxing stay in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are walking distance from the renowned restaurant of the Inn at Little Washington, and minutes from Shenandoah National Park, award-winning wineries, horseback riding and antique stores.

All guests are welcome to make use of the inn’s amenities, including the library with fireplace, sunroom with tables for reading or game-playing, front porch with its views of the mountains, and our gardens. Everyone’s day begins with a home-cooked breakfast served in the sun room. The restored 1850s farmhouse features five individually decorated guest rooms, each with its own character (and each with private bath and individually controlled heat and air). Choose the one that best suits you! Your day here begins with a home-cooked breakfast in our sun room. Lounge in the library (with fireplace) or retreat to the quiet of one of our five guest rooms, each with private bath.
