Extremely warm and hospitable hosts, and it's quiet, yet convenient location, make this a wonderful place to stay in Virginia Beach. Rooms are very comfortable and there's a super porch filled with rockers - enjoyable even in the cool of December. Breakfast was delicious and offered a relaxed chance for interesting conversations with hosts and other guests. Highly recommended.

This is truly a home away from home. I've stayed in atleast a dozen B&B's and these hosts are my favorite. They make your stay so pleasurable. As a business traveler, I like knowing it will feel like home when I'm there!

The Barclay Cottage is a quaint little property in the heart of Virginia Beach. The owners were most hospitable and it was a great off-season escape. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the "lighthouse room."

I never miss a chace to stay at this B&B when in Virginia Beach. The rooms are comfortable, light, airy and well-kept. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The owners/hosts, Steve and Marie-Louise pay excellent attention to detail and customer satisfaction. They are extremely welcoming and accomodating!

Comfortable surroundings. Close to many activities and the beach is in walking distance. What wonderful hosts! We spent 2 hours at breakfast talking and getting to know new and interesting guests. Can't wait to go back.
