Set on twenty-eight wooded acres at 2800 feet Virginia's Mountain Inn is a place of peace and solitude. Just outside Sugar Tree's door you can walk our nature trails or contemplate our rushing creek. Five minutes away the magnificent Blue Ridge Parkway stretches lazily along the mountain peaks. There are miles of vistas and great hiking, including the Appalachian Trail. Flowing rivers invite canoeing and tubing, while bridle paths entice riders. Don't miss our wineries and the local delicacies that make this a special corner of Virginia.
Relax from the moment you arrive. Pick a rocker, or soak in our hot tub and enjoy the 40 mile view while the quiet soothes away your workday stress. Follow a hummingbird from the porch feeders to the dogwoods below. As evening falls, enjoy a spectacular sunset and then marvel at the stars as night encompasses the mountains.
