The William Cox Inn Bed & Breakfast, located in beautiful Stanardsville, Virginia, creates comfort and relaxation as you look out at our magnificent mountain view. Enjoy our historical house, built in 1700, and our newly added bedrooms overlooking the Shenandoah National Park. Meals are served in the historical dining rooms, and a 40 foot long Great Room has space for playing games or sitting in front of the Tulikivi fireplace. Tea is served each day at 5:00 pm in the Library and Saturday evening we have a wine tasting. Complimentary Virginia Port and dark chocolates are offered in the late evening.

Our river on the farm is a wonderful place to swim and a small hiking trail goes through our woods. Our local artist has drawn native botanical artwork for our rooms. You can even go and collect eggs from our chickens or work in our vegetable garden pulling potatoes. A regulation size Boccee Court in front of our old barn and our in-ground swimming pool are other places to relax. Our B&B is a perfect place for family reunions, business retreats, or small weddings.

Local farm produce and meats are used to create a culinary experience. Our biscuits won the blue ribbon at the Greene County Fair. We grow our own vegetables in 2600 sq ft of sustainably cultivated raised beds.

Before one week of the reservation a $25.00 charge with full refund. Within one week the reservation cannot be cancelled and the credit card will be charged. No shows will also have the credit card charged.
