South River Country Inn Bed and Breakfast in Stanardsville, Virginia is a faithfully restored farmhouse on 100 acre working farm nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains just minutes from the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive.

The B&B’s amenities include whirlpool tubs, satellite television, wireless internet, and of course a bountiful country breakfast.

Visit local wineries, historic attractions, hike in the mountains, fish in our stocked ponds, or just relax in the hammock. On site you can walk or bicycle for miles, fish in our stocked ponds or trout stream (license required), talk to the cows and chickens, relax in the hammock or on the swing or rock away your stress in the rocking chairs on the front porch. At night, sit back and gaze at the stars. For the more adventurous, we offer hot air balloon rides from the front yard of the Inn. For business travelers or those who just can’t leave it all behind, we have Internet access, fax, copying, computer, laser printing and mailing facilities.
