The house is gorgeous! Even the creaky floors add a sense of antiquity to the house and it is so quiet inside. Donna, the innskeeper, was super friendly and very helpful in the wee hours of the night when most would not be awake. We had a sign addressed to us which made us feel very special and she had even alerted everyone that we as honeymooners were coming. I loved the room with an electric fireplace, 2 tvs, and a bed that I wanted to take home with me. I couldn't believe the level of hospitality they provided with personal notes telling us how to work things and when breakfast would be...free food at night...and wine! The bathtub was spacious and fit two! LOVED it. I just wish we could have requested different food to be made.

We were fortunate enough to visit during the Christmas Season. The house was decorated beautifully. Our hostess Donna, prepared a fabulous breakfast each morning. She was a delight ! By all measures a wonderful stay at a wonderful B&B.

Quite the best inn we have stayed at during our many trips to see the united states. The owners' attention to detail, both in the quality of the accommodation and the service, is outstanding.

This place is the best. The level of personal attention is unbelievable. The attention to minute detail designed to make your stay really special and the luxury in everything are staggering. And there's a really beautiful pool and hot tub. The location is historic and charming and there's a lot to see. We live near Richmond and had no idea we could have so much fun there.

This is a beautiful old home in outstanding condition, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and run by an extremely friendly and efficient staff. The room was very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Great location. We've stayed in many B&B's, and this is our favorite so far.

The Maury Place is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. It is easy to find and it has off street parking. We stayed in the Belmont Suite, which is a quaint area of the house comprised of both the historic and modern. My personal favorite about the suite was the heated floor in the bathroom. The primary reason the stay was so marvelous was because of the hospitality of the innkeepers. The Assistant Innkeeper was extremely helpful and had an amazing personality that added so much to the charm. She was very knowledgeable about Richmond and helped us navigate the city. The Maury Place was an enchanting place to stay in Richmond. We will definitely be back.
