Set on a secluded creek of the Chesapeake Bay in Mathews County’s Port Haywood, The Inn at Tabbs Creek Bed and Breakfast offers the ideal spot for a several day waterfront getaway. The B&B’s main inn is set in an 1815 farmhouse with generous common areas and a screened in porch overlooking the 800 feet of waterfront the property offers. There are over 8 acres of land, including lawns and wooded areas, organic gardens, private sitting areas, a swimming pool as well as a private dock. We also offer private entrance suites in our Garden Cottage, a separate lodging facility set within very close proximity of the main house.

The Inn at Tabbs Creek Bed & Breakfast offers the perfect retreat whether you are interested in kayaking the 90 miles of blue way water trails within Mathews County, cycling the endless miles of low traffic and scenic roads, getting out on the water with sailing or powerboat tours, visiting the charming nearby towns for the antiques and local art, enjoying the near by wineries of the northern neck or simply relaxing by the pool at the inn.

Please check in between the hours of 3 PM to 8PM. Call for any exceptions.
Check Out Policy:
Check out time is 11:00 AM. Please call for any exceptions.
Cancellation Policy:
For all cancellations made before 14 days of the reservation there is a $35 cancellation fee, and a refund of any deposit made. For reservations canceled within 14 days of the stay a gift certificate will be issued for the same amount for a future stay within one years time.

Deposit Policy:
For one night stays, a full deposit is required. For all other stays a deposit of 50 % is required to hold the reservation.

Pets Living At Inn: Yes
Our two dogs live in our separate carriage house 200 feet away from where any guest rooms are. They are not permitted to roam the grounds freely while guest are on site.
Smoking: Limited
We have no smoking indoors. There is a designated out door smoking area for our guest who choose to use it.
