The Holladay House garden is a delight. Although not displayed in this picture, the Holladay House boasts an ancient English Oak tree that came from Montpelier, the colonial home of James and Dolly Madison.

Garden Room Luxury Whirlpool
Located on the ground level of the house, the Garden Room is perfect for a romantic getaway. Decorated in soft greens and plums, this room combines the amenities of a luxury hotel with the coziness of a Virginia bed and breakfast. The Garden Room includes a double-sized whirlpool tub with chromatherapy, so you can enjoy the benefits of a spa in the privacy of your own room. Wrap yourselves in the warmth of thick soft robes and fall into the king-sized bed. Melt your stress away with a massage from a licensed massage therapist. Watch a DVD from our DVD library before you drift off to sleep amidst piles of pillows. Take in the morning air on your private side patio. In addition, this room includes a large private bathroom with a combination tub/shower. This room is pet-friendly.

Blue Room
The Blue Room is one of the two original bedrooms of the house, but the Holladay family used it as a formal parlor. Currently, this large room includes a queen-sized tester bed romantically draped with airy white curtains next to an original fireplace and mantel (now equipped with a heated electric fireplace). A rocking chair and comfortable sitting chair face the TV/DVD player and desk. The private bathroom includes a tub/shower combination, and is only two steps across the hallway. We furnish you with luxurious robes for your convenience. This room may accommodate two rollaway beds.

John Madison Suite
The John Madison Suite is one of two original bedrooms at the Holladay House Bed and Breakfast. Throughout the early 1900s, it served as Dr. and Mrs. Lewis Holladay’s sitting room, bedroom and bath. This room is now a large, elegantly decorated romantic suite, perfect for an anniversary or honeymoon. The overstuffed queen-sized cherry four-poster bed is accompanied by a gas fireplace with the original historic mantel. The sitting room adjoins with a comfy couch and cozy chair with ottoman facing the TV/DVD player. The large private bath with tub and shower is in-room.

Oak Room
The Oak Room has an antique oak bed with high carved headboard and matching dresser in a large room with oriental carpet and warm Williamsburg colors. A charming electric fireplace adds romance as well as warmth. TV/DVD and CD/Alarm are in the room for your enjoyment. The large, private full bath adjoins.
