If you appreciate beautiful surroundings inside and outdoors, you will enjoy the furnishings and gardens at the Walkers's B&B. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the light change on the river at dawn and dusk. The lovely neighborhood is great for a stroll or jog. The Walkers were very gracious and accommodating and Tea time and breakfast served on the patio were a real treat. It helps that the weather was ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

Emily & Richard were the perfect hostest/host.Very elegant and the breakfasts were "out of this world" The waterfront view was incomparable! Southern hospitality at its best. Antiques were impressive! Margaret & Bill Hunsucker Moore, SC 29369

They are the perfect hosts. Afternoon tea was full of treats. Room very comfortable and breakfast to die for. Should we mention the peaceful river view, the magnificent roses and peonies in full bloom and the swinging hammock from which to take it all in. It was the perfect weekend get-a-way from our home in Williamsburg. Can't wait to return. Joe & Kim

My daughter arranged the stay since she had recently moved to Norfolk and we wanted to come and visit. We almost never stay in b&Bs, but this was a most pleasant surprise. We could not have been more pleased. Emily and Richard were delightful company, the location was superb, as was the view of the river from the dining area Breakfast was sumptuous--served on china with sterling utensils. The beds were very comfortable. Most importantly, as mentioned, the company was delightful. We would definitely recommend Walker's to our friends.

Emily and Richard were wonderful hosts, we had a great time. The B & B was excellent, the food wonderful - but the company was best of all. Recommended to any/all that are looking for a romantic get-away from the rest of the world !

Beautifully prepared breakfasts outside by the bay on the veranda on antique china was the treat of this B & B.Daily fresh towels in the shared bathroom was a treat. The quiet atmosphere with an available covered swing or large hammock invited restfulness. The close availability to the city's sites saved a lot on gas costs. I loved playing the grand piano in our leisure time. The 15% off coupon to a lovely local historical restaurant was a special advantage.The beautifully furnished home was an enjoyment of southern decorating. The queen bed was very comfortable. TV viewing was available in a common room. The bedroom we stayed in was a bit small and could have used another chair, but overall the experience was more than we expected.

The Walkers were wonderful. It was the highlight of our trip to Virginia. The breakfast Emily served was great. We are looking forward to staying with them again.

My stay was very pleasant. My hosts Emily and Richard were pleasant and cordial. The neighborhood was extremely quiet ... (wouldn't have thought.) I plan to stay with them again soon.
