The Huffman House Bed & Breakfast is a meticulously restore historic farmhouse in Newport, built in 1835, which offers guests the rich history, romance and extraordinary experience of peaceful country living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Located in beautiful Craig County, Virginia on Route 42, a scenic by-way, with its 61 acres of streams, pastures, barns, farm animals and abundant wildlife, you'll never guess you are only 20 minutes from downtown Blacksburg and Virginia Tech, with all the conveniences of the modern world.
The perfect retreat for your vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, Tech football games, graduation, or just a weekend away. Spacious bedrooms can accommodate families. The surrounding area offers many opportunities to fish, float, bike, hike or sight see. Take a hike along the nearby Appalachian Trail, or enjoy a walk around the property and introduce yourself to all the unique farm animals. Art & music festivals and farmers markets go on all summer and fall, while winter months offer some great hunting, hiking and bluegrass music at local eateries.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to your reservation date for a full refund. If you cancel within two weeks of your reservation, we will refund your money less a $25 processing fee. EXCEPTIONS: Special Weekends (university graduations, football) - On these weekends you must cancel one month in advance for a full refund. No refunds will be given after this date. NOTE: Departures prior to your check-out date will not result in a refund. We will issue you a voucher for that night's stay, for you to use at a later date.
