The Garden and the Sea Inn Bed & Breakfast sits peacefully on a quiet county lane just 11 miles west of Virginia's barrier islands, Chincoteague and Assateague in New Church, Virginia. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a quiet, relaxed atmosphere to return to at the end of a day at the beach, or visiting some of the Eastern Shore's charming quaint towns or marinas, the Garden and Sea Inn provides just the right combination of personal attention and Victorian ambiance.
We provide the most romantic, upscale bed and breakfast rooms in the Chincoteague Island area - each room has a private bath (most with whirlpool tubs), air conditioning, television/DVD player, coffee maker and refrigerator. The inn's rooms are designed and decorated to ensure guests a unique lodging experience with emphasis on privacy, comfort and relaxation. Our outdoor pool is open May - October, weather permitting. The inn also offers the perfect lodging location to view waterfowl at the wildlife refuge on Assateague Island or along the Eastern Shore of Virginia. My wife and I were very pleased with this B&B. We had a very nice room with an unusually large private bath and the breakfasts were very good.
