At Buckley Hall Inn Bed & Breakfast in Mathews VA, you can ride a bike to the beach, observe the over 200 documented species of birds in the Bethel Beach Nature Sanctuary, or see the New Point Comfort Light House. If boating is your interest, canoeing and kayaking are just minutes away. Offshore fishing or sightseeing trips to Chesapeake Bay locations can be arranged with local captains. For history buffs, we are located within a few miles of many of Virginia's famous historic plantations, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.

But, if you really want to just stop and relax, this is the place to be. Sit on the grand front porch under age-old oaks, rock a bit or read a book. Our library is well stocked for your reading pleasure. Four acres of beautiful landscaping and woods can give you an opportunity for a pleasant walk.

Buckley Hall Inn offers a variety of romantic rooms, some with fireplaces, four poster beds and even your own private whirlpool bath. All bathrooms are private. Mornings bring the aroma of a real country breakfast -- some of which may be prepared on an 1880's wood stove. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room where tea is also served every afternoon. Check Out Policy:
Check-Out by 11:00 am on day of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Our cancellation policy is 2 - 14 days, based on number of rooms reserved. In case of an emergency cancellation, your credit card will be charged for the one night deposit and a gift certificate will be issued for a stay at another time.
