Piney Hill has become our favorite B&B...after only one visit! That says alot about Piney Hill. The inn is wonderfully decorated, the view is GORGEOUS, the food is AMAZING and the innkeepers are the BEST hosts. Before we departed, we were already planning our next trip.

We found Peace at Piney Hill Heartbroken after experiencing a sudden loss, my husband and I tried to return to the daily grind of raising two young children while working and running our household. We needed a break. Time away together - just the two of us. I love the Blue Ridge so my husband chose Luray. A quiet, Virginia, country town with lots of charming attractions that is tucked away amoung pastures and mountains. The views there are the best the Shenandoah Valley has to offer! Hank and Wiley are so welcoming. And their decor is inspirational as is the story of their farmhouse's restoration. They are truely talented decorators and innkeepers. The Country Barn and Antiques and Gift Shop is a true find! It's a classy, expertly arranged shop. Soft music playing, perfect lighting and the best antique finds around. I was so pleased by their Gift Shop! Outstanding. When I woke, the most beautiful views of the Blue Ridge greeted me. The room was charming and the breakfast perfect. Recovering from a broken heart, my husband joined the others for breakfast but I requested breakfast in bed. Hank and Wiley were happy to ablige. They treated me to the most beautiful breakfast tray complete with fresh flowers. We selected a movie from their large collection. Hank, noticing that we were settling in for a movie night, provided a large bowl of butter popcorn. The quiet. The scenery. The hospitatlity. The decor. The mountians. It's no wonder we found peace at Piney Hill. Hank and Wiley worked hard to restore a historic Shenandoah farmhouse and they artfully share it with their quests. We know they will enjoy every success! We will return for many more peaceful getaways at Piney Hill. Sincerely, Marie and Joben Kronebusch

The atmosphere is relaxed, the house is charming, the hosts are welcoming and friendly, and the homemade breakfasts are scrumptious. We were able to get a couple's massage package on premises, which was very relaxing. The restaurants we tried in the area had some of the best food I have had in ages, rivaling anything I have tasted in much larger cities. Nearby Luray Caverns are a must-see, and admission was also a part of our weekend package. I definitely recommend Piney Hill to anyone interested in a relaxing weekend getaway. I look forward to going back to see the fall colors.

My wife and I chose Piney Hill B&B as our fifth anniversary getaway. What a completely amazing experience. Right from the reservation to until we left, everything was beyond excellence. Hank and Wiley are two of the greatest hosts we have ever had and showed us what true hospitality meant. Right from welcoming us, showing us the way around, providing so many small touches, a truly amazing breakfast and the breathtaking view, Piney Hill B&B was an absolutely incredible two nights. We stayed at the Rosebud Cottage which is an independent cottage a few steps away from the main house. Needless to say, the cottage was extremely well done and made us feel right at home as soon as we set foot in. My wife and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and can safely say that you will have a truly great experience.

Piney Hill is truly a hidden treasure nestled in the beautiful scenary of the Blue Ridge mountains. Every time we stay, I feel completely re-energized. Hank & Wiley have perfected the art of inn keeping. They make you feel at home and make sure you don't leave the breakfast table hungry!!! Our third stay was just as wonderful as our first. We definitely look forward to our next visit in the spring. Can't wait to hold down the front porch with a rocking chair and just relax!!!

I have traveled the world and have stayed in some amazing lodgings but none with the customer service provided at Piney Hill! Hank and Wiley are truly without comparison and masters of their craft. They are genuinely friendly and welcoming but run a very professional and extremely comfortable home. No stuffy 27 piece dining hall here....bring your jeans, t-shirts, slippers and enjoy the best breakfast in Virginia. Forget what you "think" you won't eat....Hank will make you fall in love with food again. Highly recommended!

The only thing that could have made it better would have been a longer stay! From the first welcoming hello to the "good bye-come back soon" wave from the front porch, Hank and Wiley were exceptional hosts. They were attentive, but not intrusive. They took such good care of us so we could relax and enjoy Piney Hill. Wow...Great Breakfasts!!! The breakfasts were always beautifully presented and yummy in the tummy. We also loved the late night homemade pound cake. Our room was beautifully decorated and "at home" comfortable. Piney Hill is a great escape. We shall return!!!

My boyfriend and I just got back from a night at Piney Hill and I have to say that it definitely lived up to my high expectations. Especially after reading hundreds of ravings about the place, I was really hoping for a place that my boyfriend, who is extremely private, would feel comfortable in. It was perfect. We've both been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for years and can recognize and appreciate good food and service. We only stayed one night there, but it was long enough to feel very well cared for and welcome. Considerate touches were made when we weren't watching such as turning down our sheets and placing chocolates on them when we went out for dinner, and we felt Hank, who welcomed us, was very attentive to our needs. The room had a great view, a warm fireplace and satellite tv with movie channels. We spoke to Hank at length and could tell that he had an admirable work ethic, as well as good culinary skills if breakfast the next morning was any indication. The room and bathroom were both immaculate. Our two favorite things about this day trip were probably Hanks company, and his french toast!

First, the InnKeepers, Hank and Wiley, are amazing! They go above and beyond to cater to your every want and need! Second, the property is BEAUTIFUL! The views from all sides really take your breath away. Third, their attention to detail is unmatched. Everywhere you turn, there is another creature-comfort. Warm, fuzzy robes, little games to play, tons of movies to watch, little snacks laid out for you, DELICIOUS country breakfasts, gorgeous decorations (inside and out). We stayed in the Rosebud Cottage and it truly was a little slice of heaven! We are so glad that Hank and Wiley and even "Tri-pod" the kitty cat were there to make our experience at Piney Hill one in a million!

We choose Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. This was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast and we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the decor, yummy food, hospitality and refreshing aromas of a fresh apple cake baking. The attention to detail was unbelievable and amazing!! We even had a very nice anniversary card waiting for us in the room. We felt as though we were with family and not amongst strangers. Hank and Wiley made this experience unforgettable!! They will be seeing us again!!

We visited Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast during our honeymoon get-away through the Shenandoah Valley. I finally married the man; my best friend, that I have loved from the moment I met him. It was such fun shopping in the Piney Hill Gift Shop for things to decorate our new Master bedroom and hot tub suite. The great photos C.T. took during our stay as well as the wonderful memories will be treasured forever. Wiley & Hank; the innkeepers, made us feel so at home. The breakfasts each morning were awesome and could not have been more perfect. The other guests were most enjoyable and we enjoyed the social time with them during our stay. We will definitely return to Piney Hill and highly recommend a stay to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing setting.

Put this wonderful place at the top of your B&B list. Pure relaxation, beautiful country and mountain views, and delicious breakfasts, with plenty of antiquing, hiking, and of course, the Luray Caverns nearby. Truly an outstanding place to get away from it all.

We took the scenic route on our anniversary roadtrip from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Our detour off of the picturesque Skyline Drive at sunset took us to Piney Hill B&B which was like whipped cream on pumpkin pie. The ambience of the charming, restored farmhouse, with its twinkling porch lights and tastefully appointed country decor, was as warm and comforting as the jacuzzi under the stars, and our cozy room with comfortable quilted bed made for a perfectly relaxing end to a hard day's ride. Meeting the innkeepers, Wiley and Hank, was like running into a couple of old friends. Conversation was easy and interesting...even learned that Hank and I had just celebrated a shared birthday that very week. Our hosts provided interesting and useful information on the house and its amenities, where to dine that evening, and everything else we needed to know to make our stay satisfactory. They were always available, yet mindful of our privacy when it was time to wind down. In the morning, Wiley's bell signaled the beginning of a divine, gourmet breakfast, the presentation of which was as enticing as the aroma -- peach and yogurt parfait, stuffed french toast, sausage, fruit, and HOT coffee (truly a positive for me). We enjoyed our meal in the company of new friends. My quick visit to the delightful gift shop where you could purchase decorative items like those in the main house made my husband very thankful that we were on a motorcycle, with no room to spare. As anxious as we were to continue on to our ultimate destination, we truly wished we could have stayed a few more days. We will definitely go back "home" to Piney Hill and do just that.

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? We had two very relaxing and peaceful nights here mid September. I can't think of anything negative to say except that two nights wasn't long enough! The house and Hank & Wiley are so welcoming. Everywhere is spotless. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the rocking chairs with a glass of wine and the the cats at our feet. The breakfasts were an absolute feast and there are homemade cakes and cookies available all day - we took some with us on our departure and had a picnic later. Hank's pumpkin cake was delicious! I would highly recommmend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all and have a peaceful and relaxing time. If I am ever fortunate to be in Virginia again, then I will definitely return to Piney Hill!

I'm happy to join everyone else in singing the praises of Piney Hill and its hosts, Wiley and Hank. The inn is beautiful, the location is spectacular, the breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts are like old friends. We stayed for 3 nights and could easily have made it 3 weeks. They'll help you plan everything from trips to the park to vineyard tours to dinner out. Not only do the hosts have an amazing attention to detail, they welcome people into their home as if they've known them for years. There was a huge storm on our second night and the power was out until the following morning. Hank and Wiley went to great lengths to make sure the guests were comfortable and managed to pull off one of the best breakfasts of our stay following a night of very little sleep and no power. Truly remarkable. We had a fantastic time at Piney Hill and we will absolutely be back.

When arriving at Piney Hill Bed and Breakfast, I was instantly impressed with the whole property. It is beautiful, out of the way (but not too out of the way) and very welcoming. Hank and Wiley are the perfect hosts, they are friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive, not to mention great cooks. The Rosebud Cottage is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend. We felt like we were in our own world. The screened in porch was the perfect place to eat a delicious breakfast, relax and watch a passing thunderstorm while staying dry. The back patio, with its great views of the valley and mountains felt like it was in its own world, far away from everybody and everything. This is THE place to stay if you are visiting Luray, New Market or the Skyline Drive. We will be back and will be telling all of our friends to plan a trip to Piney Hill Bed and Breakfast.

This was the best B&B I've ever been to. The innkeepers were very helpful in planning for our day trips and making our dinner reservations. Hank and Wiley (the innkeepers) offer a very warm and cozy atmosphere.

I was impressed with the entire experience with Piney Hill B&B from the beginning until the end! On the day I made the reservations, I received an email to confirm everything, which was very impressive. When my husband and I arrived at Piney Hill B&B we felt relaxed. Wiley and Hank were the perfect hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They gave us directions on how to get to places, gave suggestions on where to eat, and even offered to make dinner reservations. The breakfast that they served each morning was absolutely wonderful. In fact, I enjoyed the breakfast over the lunch and dinners we had in town during our entire stay. I could go on and on about this wonderful little treasure tucked away in the countryside, but words just can't describe the experience we had.

Our first stay at a B & B. We are spoiled. Don't think another can be as great. A beautiful, country themed, well decorated, and immaculately maintained farm house and cottage. The hosts, Wiley and Hank, pull out all stops to make your stay comfortable and are quite helpful in giving detailed travel guidance around the Luray area. The food, cooked fresh, is over plentiful and delicious. There are beautiful views of the surrounding farms and mountains. Lends itself to rest, recuperation, reflection and plenty of antique and collectible shopping.

As soon as we stepped out of our car at Piney Hill B&B a sense of peace and tranquility surrounded us. Our weekend stay in the Rosebud Cottage was so relaxing. The beauty of the Shenandoah Valley was visible in every direction and the views of the nearby mountains were wonderful. Our hosts, Wiley and Hank, were warm and caring, with the most genuine desire to not only meet, but exceed our expectations. Their recommendations for everything from areas to hike to restaurants to try were right on target. The hearty breakfasts rated "10" stars. Don't miss the opportunity to spend some time at this B&B. Hank and Wiley will make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive! David and Judy

I found Piney Hill after an extensive internet search and with the help of TripAdvisor, my favorite travel website. I was looking for a quiet and romantic place to stay for my honeymoon and saw that Piney Hill was rated in the Top 10 B&B's in the country. Although I was thinking that sounded too good to be true, I have always trusted the information on TripAdvisor. This place is just gorgeous. We stayed in the Rosebud Cottage and it truly doesn't get any better than that. Trust me, I have stayed over 1,000 nights of my life in hotels and nothing has remotely compared to Piney Hill. Who needs swanky hotels with impersonal service and people milling about everywhere? We arrived around 10 p.m. the evening of our wedding day, and Hank was waiting to greet us with a big smile. He and Wiley couldn't have been sweeter. We were very tired from the day's activities, and they offered to help us unload the car, which was greatly appreciated (especially at that hour). When we walked into the Rosebud Cottage, I didn't realize that was our room at first - I thought it was the gathering area in the main house because it was so roomy and beautiful! Hank and Wiley had a lovely wedding card waiting for us and chocolates on the bed. We stayed three nights in the Rosebud and we did not want to leave. I could honestly live there. It couldn't have been more quiet, romantic and relaxing. The views in every direction are amazing, and we really enjoyed the farm cats that visited us every morning. My favorite part of the cottage was the screened porch with the beautiful wicker furniture. A fabulous, home-cooked breakfast was brought to us in a lovely picnic basket every morning, and we could eat it at our leisure. We didn't even have to be awake when they delivered it! We also loved the huge Jacuzzi in the garden under a beautiful willow tree - we had it all to ourselves each time we used it. The landscaping surrounding the property should be featured in a gardening magazine. You could eat off the floors in the Rosebud Cottage - it was that clean. It was decorated very tastefully and seemed brand new. Hank and Wiley never bothered us during our stay and respected our privacy, but they were so very gracious when we did approach them with questions about the area. Our honeymoon was mainly spent in the cottage, but we did venture out for a few meals (don't miss The Artisan in Luray), horseback riding, and a 4 1/2 hour float trip down the Shenandoah River. It was absolutely perfect. We would recommend Piney Hill to anyone and everyone without an ounce of hesitation. We hope to return in the future to relive the wonderful memories that were made there. Thank you, Hank and Wiley, for an unforgettable stay. You have set the bar for romantic getaways. :0)

The Piney Hill B&B is a wonderful, realxing get-away. The innkeepers, Wiley and Hank, are very friendly and happy to help you get to know the Luray, Virginia area, but they are not overbearing and will leave you alone if you don't want to be social. The breakfast was delicious and cooked with our dietary requests and taste preferences in mind. The hot tub out back is a wonderful way to end a summer evening with views of the mountains in all directions. If you want to visit the Luray area, I would definitely recommend a stay at the Piney Hill B&B.

I just got back from an amazing week long trek through Virginia. In the middle of the trip, we stayed at Piney Hill for two nights. It was a pleasure. I went for relaxation and fun, and I tell you what - it was just what I needed. Away from the city, in the rolling countryside of the Shenandoah Valley, Piney Hill was a refuge from the hustle and bustle of my mundane life. The innkeepers, Hank and Wiley, were the most cordial hosts and they treated everyone they met with charm and grace. The building is a centuries old farm house that has been renovated to show just how wonderful these old dwellings really were. The views of the valley are phenomenal, and as you can see from my pictures, both the sunrises and sunsets will take your breath away. The beauty of the land, the relaxing ambiance and the wonderfully friendly hosts left me wanting for more. In fact, I am sipping a refreshing iced tea as I write . . . a reminder of my time at Piney Hill.

When my husband and I arrived there we originally felt that is was too isolated, BUT we were wrong. It is only 5 minutes from town. We had the best of both worlds. Peace and relaxation in the mountains yet only 5 min from town when we felt like socializing. The B & B is decorated so lovely , the breakfasts were great (I kept asking for their recipies) , Hank & Wiley are so helpful with exact directions and they are so friendly. They made you feel like you were at a family member's home. They cater to your every need and are so detailed in their care of you. Ex. Hank noticed I kept scraping the icing off my muffin so he took it upon himself to serve my muffin without icing for the rest of my stay. Their home is immaculate. I plan on returning with my sisters as they can't wait to experience it for themselves. Now every B & B I visit must meet my expections of what my husband and I experienced at Piney Hill. Thanks Hank & Wiley for making our stay perfect!! You guys are great!

o say that Wiley & Hank run a "nice place" is to say that the Grand Canyon is "a big, interesting hole." What an understatement! The idyllic scenery, the clean air, the food ... oh, the food! It was great to wake up to a home-cooked breakfast that tasted like something prepared by a Food Network chef. Some might not like the lack of Internet access and to them I say, "Your email will still be there when you get home." For my wife and myself, being able to "turn off, tune out, drop everything" (to appropriately misquote) was the best form of relaxation we've had in more than a year. Wiley and Hank are the most amazing hosts, full of great stories and even greater hospitality. Head to Piney Hill, enjoy the view and jump in the Jacuzzi. You won't want to leave.

Do you know the sight of the clouds over the mountains? Do you know the sound of the birds in the morning? Do you know the joy of laughter, the comfort of friends, the feeling of peace? Then you know Piney Hill because it is all these things and more. It is the most wonderful place to go and just relax. When I need time away, I always call Hank and Wiley and ask for the Rosebud Cottage. I love the Rosebud Cottage. Hank and Wiley deliver breakfast to the cottage and I always have breakfast on the screened porch so that I can enjoy the morning. Hank and Wiley are wonderful. They treat all their guests like royalty. They make every stay a special event. Piney Hill is a small piece of heaven. I've stayed in a number of other B&Bs but none of them comes even close to being the wonderful place that Piney Hill is.

A perfect, peaceful, pastoral hide-a-way nestled amidst the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley - quite the ticket for REST and RELAXATION from the hectic fast-pace DC lifestyle. Piney Hill is a wonderful refuge and most welcoming. Hank greeted us at the door and immediately we felt like we have known him for years. (Wiley, too!) Their hospitality was incredible. The inn itself is beautifully decorated - each piece tells its own story. Have Wiley tell you about the dining room table. What a find! Breakfast was scrumptious and conversation flowed around the table. We truly felt like "one of the family." Doug and I have traveled extensively and frequent B&Bs. Piney Hill, by far, rates right up there on the top! We'll be back! Thanks, Wiley and Hank.

Synopsis: An excellent stay with excellent hosts. What a wonderful time! Read my book for details! I had booked a two day aniversary getaway at another B&B in the area, but unfortunately the B&B had to cancel us. They said that they had friends in the area that owned another B&B and that they had a room available, and with my consent would get us booked there. With trepedation I said yes, that that would be fine. The original inkeepers were sick and didn't want to pass along the grems to us, so I considered that thoughtful. So, we arrived at Piney Hill B&B the next day, not really knowing what to expect. I received a preliminary email from Wiley asking us some questions because the original B&B had told them this was for our aniversary. When we arrived, Wiley and Hank set us up in a room that was in the upper corner of the B&B. It is a nice shade of yellow, and has two windows overlooking the great Shenandoah Valley. The bed was confortable and easy to sleep in, and the room had it's own bathroom. Hank and Wiley set us up with a cheese and cracker plate and a scrumpsous yellow cake (I believe that all of this was included in our package). What can I say, it was excellent. After we were settled in Hank and Wiley went over the dining establishments in Luray, and when we decided, Wiley called and made reservations for us to dine that evening. When we got back from eating, they had turned the covers down on the bed and placed Dove Chocolates for us! It was really too much! Breakfast in the morning was absolutely wonderful. Since my wife and I are not coffee drinkers, they provided us with hot chocolate and OJ, along with an absolute exquisite meal. What a great way to start the day. Sitting with the other guests that joined us, we had a great conversation. The rest our stay was pretty much along the same lines. Just absolutely perfect. I don't want to "over gush" on this place, so I'll leave it to say that I couldn't have asked for anything better. Mind you, this was our first B&B experience, so I didn't know what to expect. The problem that I see is that if we ever go to another B&B, it will be a let down! Above the doorway going to the kitchen reads a sign "Come as Strangers, Leave as Friends!" How true this is! We plan on visiting our new freinds, Wiley and Hank, again!

In a word, fabulous! We have stayed in B&Bs up and down the east coast, and none have surpassed Piney Hill for its personal attention to detail. The Inn is well concealed on a hilltop with an incredible view from the hot tub, which happens to be amid a beautiful garden lovingly tended to by Hank and Wiley. We really lucked out with perfect weather for the end of June, with no pesky insects and cool nights to boot. Our romantic weekend package came complete with a dozen perfect red roses in a lovely room with an electric fireplace that created ambience without emitting any heat. Our personal frig was stocked with cheese and crackers and chocolate covered strawberries...the largest and sweetest we ever had! Every space in every room had something charming and tastefully placed. Our hosts were most gracious about sharing their recipes. Not only was the food absolutely scrumptious...it was a work of art on the plates. Their recommendations for lunch and dinner included Moments to Remember and the Artisian Grill. We went to both over our weekend and were not disappointed. We wholeheartedly recommend Piney Hill B&B to any and all who plan to see Luray Caverns or who, like us, just enjoy B&Bs that are off the beaten path.

My husband and me wanted to get away from it all and just relax. Piney Hill was perfect for this undertaking. The B&B lays amid nature and is surrounded by mountains (amazing view). Hank and Wiley accomplished a cozy place, affectionately furnished with antiques and wonderful taken care of. We felt very welcome and treated like Kings with excellent service and an outstanding breakfast. Hope to see you soon, Hank & Wiley!

We loved our stay at Piney Hill B & B. The location was great. The views were scenic. Hank and Wiley were fabulous hosts. They were so accomodating and helpful in planning our trip. The best part was definitely the breakfast. Hank is a fabulous cook. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

My husband and I travel a lot and always seek out B&Bs for our stays. I have to say that Piney Hill is the best we have stayed in! The innkeepers have definitely perfected the art of paying attention to all the details that make your stay an enjoyable experience. The breakfast was delicious...all homemade items that were beautifully presented. You won't go away hungry!!!Piney Hill has an awesome wrap porch which is a great place for that morning cup of coffee or for relaxing in the evenings. The Piney Hill B&B was truly a remarkable find and we will definitely be staying there again soon.

My boyfriend and I spent our 2-year anniversary at Piney Hill last weekend, and had the most wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, Hank & Wiley made us feel comfortable and at home. Although it's only a couple hours from the Washington, DC area, it felt like we were in another world. Piney Hill is quiet and relaxing; I loved sitting on the porch, just taking in the scenery (and playing with the cats!). The breakfast was absolutely decadent. By the time we left - by the way, one night was not enough - Hank and Wiley felt like old friends. I have already recommended Piney Hill to friends and family and hope to return soon.

My husband and I spent our first night at the Piney Hill B&B last week but it certainly won't be our last! We booked based on the rave reviews and were not disappointed. We've stayed at a number of B&Bs but our stay at Piney Hill was more like a visit with family or friends. Hank and Wiley are wonderful hosts - the breakfast was great and the coffee made to order (1/2 decaf 1/2 regular)! The house is a few miles outside of Luray VA in a beautiful country setting. It's a great location to visit Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, and numerous wineries in the Shenandoah area. B&Bs are not for everyone but if you like that kind of accommodation or want to try one, they don't come any better than this!!

Regardless if you are looking for a spot to spend a night while visiting local attractions or a quiet getaway, Piney Hill B&B is the perfect location. Wiley & Hank will make sure you feel at home, as the true B&B host should do. For us the only difference form home was that the breakfast was superb, more like a 5-star restaurant than home. They will also make sure that you get wherever you are going to and give perfect recommendations for attractions and restraints in the area. And if you decide to stay in for the nigh, you can chose between open-air hot tub or extensive collections of movies. Thanks guys!!!

Our stay at Piney Hill was above and beyond the title of excellent. Everything was beautiful right down to the smallest detail. The rose bud cottage was awesome and a great way to spend our honeymoon. We made new friends, loved on the cats, and enjoyed time under the stars while in the hot tub. Hank and Wiley have created a very special place and the breakfest was wonderful. A must go and see....should be on the list of things to do in your lifetime.

This was a very good Bed and Breakfast experience. The Hosts are very nice and make sure you are well fed and taken care of. They offered info for all of the local venues and attractions, to ensure that you will have more than enough to keep you occupied, if need be. We will be going back, this is assured.

Our weekend at the Inn was magical!! Wiley and Hank are the most wonderful hosts! The food was awesome and the ambiance of the countryside was mesmerizing. We will be back again and again!

We had a lovely time. I felt like I was visiting my "well to do" Uncles that live in the country. The Rosebud Cottage was charming yet functional. We enjoyed the grounds, the delicious breakfasts, the caverns, the gracious hospitality, and especially, the hot tub! Give our newly found uncles FIVE STARS!

Hank & Wiley were wonderful just like everything else at Piney Hill. They are the perfect hosts because you can tell that they really enjoy what they do and are truly concerned about the quality of your stay with them. The house was one of the most beautiful things we had ever seen and the setting was just as beautiful. Piney Hill is the ideal peaceful and romantic retreat and we will definitely return some day.

This is a lovely, comfortable inn. The breakfasts are great! We loved the garden areas -- lots of private little nooks and sitting areas, each with a pretty view. Hank and Wiley made us feel at home and welcomed from the moment we arrived! We hope we have the chance to return as we continue to explore Luray and the Shenendoah Valley.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This was our first BNB experience and it was beyond our expectations. The inn keepers Hank and Wiley are so friendly and personable they make you feel right at home. The inn is very clean and has been updated, but maintains the charm of a farm house. The property is very well landscaped and has magnificent views. We look forward to a return trip.
