South Court Inn is a bed & breakfast found in Luray, VA that caters romantic getaways for couples seeking quality time together. The bed and breakfast offers anniversary, elopement, and honeymoon packages. Couples are invited to choose from four romantic guest rooms or a cottage to relax or celebrate in. King size beds, private baths, whirlpool Jacuzzi tubs and TV with DVD and CD player fill the rooms to make your stay ideal.
From the day we bought our home, we wanted to create a place where couples could come and relax in friendly elegance here in Luray, VA. Even with all the Victorian decorations, we are not a museum, but a couples’ retreat! That means we hope you’ll find South Court’s “high” Victorian decoration and furnishings not just beautiful, but also part of a “make yourselves at home” atmosphere as well. We want you to be impressed when you come in the front door…but half-an-hour later, we want you to feel free to run around bare-foot, lounge in the sunroom or prop up with a book in the middle of our living room floor if you like! |

We recognize that unforeseeable events sometimes arise that require our customers to reschedule or cancel reservations. We do everything we can to accommodate those requests...without imposing unacceptable financial strains on our business. Therefore we observe the following policies on rescheduling and canceling reservations:
1. Requests to reschedule or cancel reservations at least 14 days before scheduled arrival date are accepted without penalty.
2. Rescheduling and cancellations with less than 14 days advance notice are charged the agreed rate and a gift certificate is issued for use within 12 months.
3. Cancellations the same day as the reservations and "no shows" are charged the full rate and no gift certificates issued.
4. Cancellation with less than 14 days notice must be made by telephone … toll free is 888-749-8055. |

We are a nonsmoking home and cottage. Guests who smoke in the house or cottage agree to pay for cleaning the rooms to eliminate smoking odors, including dry cleaning draperies and bed hangings and washing of oriental rugs in their rooms. |

This is the best B&B that I've ever stayed at. Especially the creativity and hard work placed in the preparation, presentation, and delivery of the breakfasts. I loved the Banana Foster topping for the french toast! There are many very good B&Bs out there...the South Court Inn holds the edge because of their fantastic and dynamic breakfasts. I recommend staying here and trying them out!

My husband and I recently visited South Court Inn while doing some hiking in the area. We loved our time there. The house was beautiful with great attention to detail. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable after a long day of hiking. Tom, the innkeeper, makes an amazing breakfast and loves to share the background of the dishes as well as talking about history of the house and the area over coffee. We look forward to a return visit.

WOW!!! Simply beautiful.. We decided to marry here honestly after seeing all the pictures posted online and the many wonderful reviews. Tom made us feel very welcomed and was there if we needed him. We married the same day we arrived and I was so nervous, I remember telling Tom as we arrived I was nervous I was going to screw the vows up, he reassured me he hasn't lost anyone and he doesn't plan on it. We had an amazing ceremony, thanks so much to Tom & Anita! Tom made us wonderful french toast in the am, we loved it!! We definately plan to return for our 1 year anniversary but this time we are staying longer. This was a perfect getaway- can't say how much I loved it!
After reading all the reviews that South Court has received the only thing I am bothered by are the few reviews that were poor. They refer to Tom demanding payment as you entered, I can say as we entered we were welcomed and eventualy we paid- honestly every hotel we have been in when walking in the door you pay, so that was normal. Another thing people say they talk and talk re: what they did to the place and the renovations. Yes they did but in a tasteful way, we were interested in learning what we could. They not once overwelmed us or bothered us. Maybe because we are people that actually have respect for others and their property that we had no issus at all. Tom and Anita are very accomodating and very friendly.
The only thing I am disappointed in is that we didn't stay longer and couldn'r because the cottage was already rented for the day we were leaving but next year, we will be there longer for sure, no doubt!!

Tom and Anita Potts are truly the go to people for a romantic, stress-free elopement. South Court Inn exceeded all my expectations. The house is absolutely breathtaking and there is just no way to take it all in and the pictures just don't do it justice. The entire house is a labor of love and it reflects into the grounds as well. I would recommend anyone to stay at South Court Inn, my new husband and I will be returning again and again! Luray in general was a beautiful place!! Bless you Tom and Anita!

Upon arrival both Tom and Anita were welcoming and extended a very warm inviting atmosphere. Our wedding was beautiful, intimate and most of all stress free! The cottage is comfortable, relaxing and has all the comforts of home. The breakfasts were out of this world delicious and the conversations were enjoyable and informative about the local area. Can't wait to come back for our anniversary. Everything from flowers to the cake to the photos were perfect!!! Thanks Tom and Anita! Kathy and Chris Hawkins

The South Court Inn made my dreams come true. They provided us with a magical spectacular wedding on a modest budget. The Innkeepers are magnificant and very detail oriented. Tom and Anita Potts went to great legnths to make everyone's stay at South Court Inn extra special. Breakfast was magnificant, elegant and delicious. It was a great time to meet some facinating individuals from all over the country. South Court Inn far exceeded our expectations. I work in a field where everyone is always in crisis. It reminds me that life is very short and goes by quickly. We all need reminders to take time off to enjoy life. I would highly recommend getting away to visit South Court Inn. While in Luray, don't forget to visit the town with it's many wonderful unique stores. The magical time spent at South Court Inn will remain forever etched in our minds. It is less than one week since our return and we are already planning our return visit for our first anniversary! Thank you Tom and Anita Potts for making our wedding and honeymoon a truly spectacualr event!!!!

Tom and Anita are wonderful wedding/romance angels sent by God :) I honestly don't know how they do it all. But they are absolutely amazing.
We got married April 17, 2011 at South Court and stayed 2 nights in the cottage.
Tom made breakfast on time every morning at 9 a.m. sharp. We loved how he explained where his food ideas and silverware originated, since we love to learn about history.
The cottage we stayed in was the best ever in comfortability, cleanliness, and privacy. We couldn't stay out of the hot tub, it was just so soothing.
Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and much more. We wanted to keep it simple, elegant and reasonable. And Tom and Anita allowed us to do that by focusing on just us. I recommend South Court to everyone and anyone that will listen.
