This B& B will not disappoint unless you do not like beautiful surroundings, with a pond and a stately house to be your view, an inviting bed, with the most comfortable sheets, an amazing shower, with a shower stream and jets, a fabulous breakfast, that is delivered to you directly each morning, a cozy room with a flat screen television and a gas fireplace. A quiet, peaceful, romantic getaway that should not be missed!

Hubs & I needed some well needed R & R; we wanted a clean, cozy place to "lay our heads". Fireplace & jacuzzi was important to us. When we arrived there was classical music playing-a welcome sign w/our names, & a nice carafe of some soothing sherry & 2 glasses. Also 2 cold Stouts in the frig along w/sodas & water. There was a microwave & snax. The cottage was so nicely decorated & the bathroom to die for-including bath products, comfy robes & slippers. The cottage had books, dvds & cds. There were candles in the windows & a small front porch w/2 chairs. The breakfast was "gourmet".The day we checked out 1 of the innkeepers let us tour the main house. We can't wait to return this coming winter & hope to make it an annual tradition.

We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing get a way. The home and grounds are beautiful. It is also near some wonderful area restaurants. Dennis and Janice were wonderful hosts.

I would tell them that I had a wonderful stay. It was a very beautiful place. I loved the very soft and cozy bed. I loved having breakfast delievered to the door. It was a place you could go and relax and enjoy yourself.

So comfortable, in fact my immediate purchase upon returning home was to purchase a featherbed mattress for ALL of the beds in our house-it was such an unexpected treat to sleep on that surface..who knew? Not me! Loved the bathroom-it was huge! I lit the candles and took a soak. Loved the coffee maker in the bathroom as well. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, homemade biscuits like one dreams about. We were checking out JMU for our daughter, so much nicer than a hotel. We will be back! especially since she is going to go to JMU!
