We were traveling to the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped in Harrisonburg Virginia. The welcome center helped us find this wonderful B & B . We were extremely pleased ! The owner and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. This is a very clean, charming and well kept inn. The breakfast was fantastic ! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful architecture and service! We stayed only one night in our way home from Montreal. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. This old house with lots of character and charm is very close to the very cute town of Harrisonburg. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast (Eggs Benedict) was great! We strongly recommend staying there!

We cannot say enough good things about the Inn. We traveled to visit our son at JMU and we had the absolutely best stay here. Bob and Renee and their team do such a great job to make you feel so at home! And the breakfast was fab!! You can't go wrong staying here!! Lovely in all aspects!

We were looking for a new experience in a new town and this fit the bill to perfection. From the time I made the reservation the entire staff was responsive to every question and need. They offered to make dinner reservations and gave recommendations for local restaurants. They called early in the week to confirm our stay and solidified our dinner reservations. I ordered the wine trail package and it was ready and waiting when we arrived. Bob and Renee greeted us warmly and offered to bring in our bags. Bob called and confirmed our reservation and they both walked us through the house and went through the details of our room. We got the Chamberlain room which has a gas fireplace. The room was more spacious than I imagined and had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. The breakfasts are truly memorable and Bob paid attention to each guest and their particular desires. The entire staff treated us with affection and warmth and truly made us feel welcome and like family. They were so attentive to every detail. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to visit again.

Hospitality. The people who run and work at this Inn exemplify it very well. During an epic road trip our car failed. My sons and I were in a pickle. The care given to us while I decided our next action gave me strength and determination to continue. Atmosphere. The rooms and beds and sitting areas were gracious and comfortable. Food. Breakfast at the Stonewall Jackson is a delight that you will be happy to have experienced!

My husband and I happened upon this historic Bed and Breakfast in Harrisonburg, while searching online for a nice place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We were greeted warmly to this historic mansion beautifully decorated for the holidays by Bob and Renee. They gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room, the Stonewall Jackson. One of our favorite breakfast items served the next morning was the croissant French toast. Delicious, Bob! If you are looking for a comfortable, warm and enjoyable place, we highly recommend the Stonewall Jackson Inn!!

We recently stayed at the Stonewall Jackson Inn for the last night of our Honeymoon. We instantly felt at home when we arrived! We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property, amenities, and our room. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite/Stonewall Jackson Suite - which was spacious, inviting, comfortable, and very charming. We had a wonderful night's sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning before hitting the road to return to DC. This is an excellent choice for anyone traveling to the Shenendoah Valley who wants something more unique and/or romantic than staying a chain property. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Stonewall Jackson Inn recently. We spent three nights in the George Pickett room. The Inn is an attractive property and well kept both inside and outside. Our room was clean and spacious with a large private bath overlooking the backyard. Wayne, Bob, Renee, Brittney and Iris were attentive gracious hosts during our stay. All were quick to offer suggestions and ideas for our stay plus made time to have a good conversation with us. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the veranda in the evening while the sun set people watching. Harrisonburg has an eclectic downtown and is just a short walk from the Inn. The Inn has several partner restaurants and attractions with some discount benefits worth taking advantage. Especially enjoyed Clementine’s for dinner. We enjoyed the Virginia Quilt Museum, Mennonite Heritage Center, Historic Grist Mill, driving in the country side, visiting the Bluestone Winery and the JMU Arboretum. Lastly, the breakfast each morning was delicious with excellent service. We agree wholeheartedly that “Night’s Delight & Breakfast to Remember” aptly describes our time at Stonewall Jackson Inn.
