Welcome to North River in Gloucester, Virginia, where the land meets the water and the present meets the past. Enjoy your stay at this tall and stately vacation rental that you will be able to call home during your getaway. While you’re here you’ll have a rare glimpse of how life used to be in rural Virginia. Surrounded on three sides by the Chesapeake Bay in the Virginia countryside you’ll get swept away by this unhurried, gracious, breathtaking beautiful vacation rental.
With two distinctive historic homes to choose from each is set on its own one-hundred acre estate. The Creek House has four and one-half bedrooms and four and one-half baths. The Toddsbury Cottage has three bedrooms and two baths with relaxing screened in porches and sleeps up-to five people. The Toodsbury Guest House features accommodations for two and can be added to The Creek House or Toddsbury Cottage rental for extra room.
We are also ideal for hosting retreats and workshops for groups up to twenty people, and we will tailor our accommodations to fit any of your needs.
With so many activities in the North River and Gloucester Area, there is always something to do. Canoes and kayaks are always available for your enjoyment. We are located 1 hour from Richmond, VA, and 35 minutes from the Patrick Henry International Airport. |

Cancellation Policy: |
For cancellations prior to two weeks of arrival date, we will refund the twenty-five percent deposit in full, less a $25.00 handling fee. For cancellations under two weeks, we will charge for the whole stay, and also issue a gift certificate for the same amount, good for use within a year.
