The Montfair Resort Farm is an eco friendly retreat for people who like to get off the beaten path in Crozet, VA. The cozy A-frame and cedar timber frame cottages overlook our tranquil 6 acre lake and offer a perfect combination of comfort, simplicity, and nature for couples and small families. The 8 air-conditioned cottages are fully equipped with modern appliances and gas heaters. All dishes, utensils,cookware, linens & towels are provided along with complimentary organic coffee & teas.
Montfair's rustic lodge is available for a variety of events, large and small. We pride ourselves on being a memorable magic location for intimate relaxed events. Scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offer beautiful dramatic settings for wedding ceremonies with the lodge easily accessible for receptions. For those looking to create eco-events we are happy to share our knowledge of the many local organic earth-friendly vendors.
Walk out your cabin door to the easily accessible trails for fishing, hiking, bird watching and biking. Montfair is an excellent starting point to explore the many local attractions of Albemarle County and Charlottesville, including the University of Virginia, the historic Downtown Mall, the Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and Blue Ridge Parkway, James Monroe's Ash Lawn, neighboring organic farms and the many nearby wineries. For that perfect vacation or special event our restful atmosphere of fresh mountain air, 129 acres of peaceful woodlands and open fields at the foot of Pasture Fence Mountain is sure to please.
