The Eastern Shore of Virginia, specifically Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, provide many varied activities for our guests. On many afternoons, freshly baked goods can be found in the dining room. Of course, you will wake each morning to the smell of warm homemade muffins, robust coffee, and an assortment of teas and juices, all of which are just a part of our hearty and decadent Southern breakfast.

Check In Policy: |
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. each evening. If you will arrive later than 7:00 p.m., please notify us so that we can prepare for a late arrival. |
Check Out Policy: |
Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. |
Cancellation Policy: |
No refunds due to weather. No refunds for early departure. All cancelled reservations are subject to a $25 processing fee per room, $100 processing fee per room for special events. Cancellation fees are in addition. |

Children ages 10+ |
Children who are at least 10 years old and accompanied by a responsible adult are welcome. Younger children are welcome when the entire inn is reserved for one group. |
Deposit Policy: |
A two-night minimum may be required on weekends. Other minimum stay requirements may be in effect for holidays and regional events. |
No Pets Allowed |
We love pets as Diego, the innkeeper's English Bulldog, will attest. However, for the comfort of all our guests and local restrictions, we are unable to accommodate guest pets. Fortunately, the Island Manor House is constructed that Diego will remain in the innkeeper's private residence and never in guest rooms or the main portion of the inn. You may see him with the innkeeper strolling through town or practicing his latest lessons in his private lawn.
