The Cottage at Brightwood Vineyard and Farm Bed & Breakfast is located on a one hundred acre working farm, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Brightwood, Virginia. The cottage overlooks the Robinson River and features well-crafted, comfortable spaces emphasizing natural materials and abundant light. Perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the confluence of the Robinson River and Spring Branch, you'll hear the gentle sounds of water and the calls of woodland birds from this beautiful vantage point. The cottage features a spacious fully equipped gourmet kitchen with living room and breakfast nook. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and two twin size sleeping lofts.
The Farm is the ideal environment to de-stress and re-connect with nature. Our goal as a diversified small farm is to be sustainable both economically and ecologically. We are committed to providing high quality products to local consumers while being good stewards of the land we gather from. We offer a choice of a continental or cook-your-own full country breakfast. The continental option, served in the cottage or on the deck, features home baked muffins or rolls, organic berries in season, homemade jam, butter from pastured cows, juice, coffee and tea, and other farm breakfast specialties. Or if you prefer, we'll deliver the ingredients for your full country breakfast (usually featuring our own delicious free range eggs) in the evening and you can cook breakfast the next morning at your leisure. |
