Clay Corner Inn is a cluster of houses on a corner next to Virginia Tech in downtown Blacksburg. The inn staff serves a fresh, healthy breakfast daily and a cookie bar Friday afternoons. The swimming pool and outdoor hot tub are both open June through October and the covered deck is a popular breakfast spot in warm weather.

Guests come from all over the world and enjoy the convenience of walking to meetings, restaurants, coffee shops, seminars, libraries and small stores on the Huckleberry Trail, a paved walking and biking path beginning one-half block away and goes 6.5 miles through fields, woods and gently rolling terrain. The location is the best in Blacksburg. The town and campus are walker-friendly and architecturally interesting.

Each guest room offers a private bath, wireless Internet, power strips, CD clock radios (Mp3 compatible) and flat screen TVs with DVD players. Clay Corner Inn is the best of high tech and low tech, the latter being warm and gracious hospitality, which never goes out of style.
