Perfect for weddings and receptions, the Spring Grove Farm Bed & Breakfast in Appomattox, VA, is a two-hundred acre Virginia plantation that has been completely restored to its 1842 condition, with compatible wings for king and queen suites and private baths.
Romantic getaways, families, history buffs and business travelers can relax and enjoy sixteen restored fireplaces that warm the public areas and your room in cool weather. Central heat and air conditioning were added during restoration for your year round comfort. Play the grand piano in the parlor or carriage house, watch old or new movies in the media room via satellite TV, hike over our two hundred acres, or just relax on the many porches and decks that take in our lovely country vistas.
We have a carefully restored 16,000 square foot plantation house complete with columned front and rear porticos. Ten public rooms on the main floor allow ample room. A large terrace and a ballroom offer space for dancing. Our beautiful staircase and other architectural details make lovely backdrops for your photographs. We can easily handle receptions of all sizes from thirty to well over two hundred guests and many more can be accommodated for outdoor events. We hope you will choose our home for your special event, or memorable getaway and we promise to do everything within our power to make it a beautiful and memorable day for you and your guests.
Enjoy your choice of a continental or full breakfast served in the dining room, breakfast room, sun room, or on the terrace. You can choose to dine at small tables for two or mingle with other guests at larger tables. Our breakfast is served from silver serving pieces using our fine china and flatware. We organically grow many of our fruits and vegetables which are served in-season. |
