The Capt. McGuire House is s lovely way to experience a little of life in Alexandria as it was in the Early Federal Era. This 1816 Old Town Alexandria Townhouse elegantly furnished with antiques and modern amenities. Captain McGuire built it just after returning from the War of 1812.
The Bed & Breakfast is at close proximity to King Street, the Potomac River, dozens of restaurants & shops, and George Washington’s home at Mount Vernon are all close by. The monuments and museums of Washington DC are only a few subway stops from the King Street Metro Subway Station.
Your hostess is a world-traveled Retired Foreign Service hostess. She has graciously hosted Bed & Breakfast guests since 1989. |
