Chelsea Room 3 Urban Style - Second Floor

The Chelsea room is newly refitted and has urban style which has never before been seen in Vermont. The bath actually lights up! The floor has radiant heating and a separate shower cascades water on to you from the ceiling. This room was featured in an article in the Boston Globe on November 5th 2006.

The Woodstocker was awarded the Vermont Hospitality Councils 2006 B & B of Innkeepers of the year. It is whimsically decorated throughout. Each of the nine, exceptionally large guest rooms are furnished with TV/CD/DVD/MP3 players. Rooms offer the choice of queen-size beds, two double beds or king size beds. The suite offers a separate living room and deck and top range BOSE media centre.

In the new library of the inn now is a complimentary guest refreshment station where tea, coffee, soda and homemade cake are always on offer. The only acredited "Green" inn in Woodstock we practice enviromental management policies. Guests desiring a low-key, relaxing getaway, might opt to browse the villages award winning restaurants or galleries, tour the mansion and grounds of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park or step back in time at the Billings Farm and Museum reflecting a 19th century working dairy farm.

The European style organic breakfast is always a special occasion. We serve from 08.30 - 10.00 a meal that should not be rushed. Guests might be treated to boiled egg and toast "soldiers", Bangers (sausages) and beans, British style back bacon, eggs anyway, homemade granola, compote & yohgurt, porridge, a selection of breads, fresh-ground coffee and excellent strong teas. Microwaves are banned!
