Located river side, you can kayak from the lower meadow, hike, picnic, and swim in nearby Lake Harriman. And the popular Marlboro Music Festival is only minutes away.
In the attached carriage house you can relax in the lounge around the fireplace in comfortable seating with warm wood floors and oriental rugs. Hand hewed beams and attention to every detail add to the ambiance of this historic country Inn. We have wine tasting every afternoon.
Nothing compares to the autumn leaves in Vermont… imagine a horse ride through the hills among the orange, yellow and red hues. Then return to a whirlpool bath in your suite, or a massage in your room with a glass of wine. In Winter there is snowmobiling from our back yard onto the VAST system of groomed trails. We have plenty of parking for your trailers and Mount Snow is just minutes away.

Nutmeg Country Inn mornings start at 6AM with hot coffee and warm buttery breads. A full country Breakfast is served from 8-9:30AM. NOTHING beats the aroma of bacon or cinnamon French toast in the air.
